What would you do if you owned high traffic website?

What would you do if you owned a website which gets about 130K users and 900K pageviews each month, but doesn't make money (because owner didn't do much in that sense).

Traffic is very targeted (almost 7 pages per visit with 6+ mins on each visit and bounce rate of only 9%).

What would you do to monitize it? (other than adsense).

Thanks

I'd milk it for all it's worth

Honestly all sites are different, and there's an endless amount of ways to make money.

Sell services, sell products, promote affiliate products, build an email list, paid advertising, paid listings, etc.

What niche is this website in, and what kind of site is it (purpose)? That way we can give you more specific answers.

would sell ad space, and would create a new site and advertise it on the first site.

Yep, definitely take sponsors and companies to pay for ads on your site. You can do CPM, CPA, etc.

Depending on exactly what you are covering, you could also create a product to sell that helps others with choosing the correct temp mail, how/when to use it, how to make sells with it, etc. You could even explain why temp mail isn't always the way to go and point to them to affiliates that could help with their needs.

As others mentined above, it really depends on your niche and what you had planned for it in the first place, before even launching it.

    Hope this helps a bit..

Yes, it all depends on the main keyword phrases that are driving traffic & the market the website is in. Certain phrases would make sense for showing ads, others would work well for affiliate products, and some would make sense for ecommerce. A membership site is also a business model if it's the type of site that people are returning to frequently.

What is the site about? Do you think there are companies that would want to advertise with you based on your site content? If so contact them and sell them as space on your site.

If you already have targetted traffic than consider adding an optin page and at first get them to sign up for updates.

The best way to continue to promote offers is to build a list. So get an autoresponder and add an optin code to the sidebar and start promoting relevant offers to the people who subscribe.

You could always have the classi adverts on the side.
But what you could also do is have a page locker, so when they go to your site.
to browse through the site they have to compelete a survey, then put in there email.
There are email submit offers that give $1.20 per email submit, and anywhere from 1 - 4 dollars for the quiz or survey. And make it so they only have to do it once and it remembers them. Also you could add a facebook like button, so they can like you on facebook and get you some social media traffic aswell, which will grow your numbers. Any questions about how to do this PM me your email and skype & I'll get in contact with you.

I'd be signing up with Tribal Fusion immediately and laughing all the way to the bank. Yum! Now just imagine if you could pull of 900k in a day. What would THAT do your for your bottom line.

Or if you were Yahoo! and did 900k in an hour. Talk about some serious server costs lol.

    build a list,

    write free reports

send free reports to list, makes sure they are good.

Then in your free reports have links to your high end offers, membership sites, products, audio, coaching, seminars etc

Do this and you will succeed.

But if you dont take action then you fail. So its up to you.

    Cheers
