[Productivity tool] Bluetooth headphones for my computer

Hi all,

Just wanted to tell you how much I've been enjoying owning a quality pair of Bluetooth stereo headphones.

I splurged on the Sennheiser MM400 - bought them at my local Apple store a few months ago. But there are WAY cheaper options out there if you're on a budget. Consult Amazon ... I'm sure you'll find something.

Productivity?

I find that there are constantly videos being posted to various Internet Marketing sites and I enjoy learning from them. But often the videos don't really need to be watched. They can be listened to. A good example is the stuff Ryan Deiss puts out for his promotions. He usually teaches something of value but his videos are basically transcriptions.

There's NO WAY I can listen to all of this stuff sitting at my PC. But I can listen to it while I make coffee, or prepare lunch, or vacuum my living room .. or whatever.

Bluetooth works well within about a 30 foot range, so if you're looking to beef up your learning while not affecting you time to actually EXECUTE, then I think bluetooth headsets make sense.

  • Bluetooth headphones sound like a great idea. I currently use a good set of head phones but they are the corded kind. Wireless would be so much better.

What I would like a recommendation for would be a good set of Bluetooth stereo headphones with a MICROPHONE.

I use the voice recognition feature in Windows 7 a lot, and being able to unchain myself from the computer while I talk to it would be great. The key feature would need to be the quality of the microphone element.

Tried this out a few years ago with a Dell Bluetooth headset, it did not work well. And the Bluetooth remote microphone I have for my telephone doesn't have sufficient quality for the voice recognition to work properly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did look at a Logitech wireless USB headset that looks promising, but I've read a number of negative reviews about its reliability.

    Thanks

hmm, I enjoy playing xbox and have a pair or wireless Turtle Beach X31 headphones with a mic...I'm gonna try them tomorrow. That would justify the $100 I spent on them if they were dual purpose. At least that's what I will tell the wife
