Clickbank Compliance TODAY!

Hey Everyone,

Just curious to know "How will ClickBank's House-keeping Sweep" effect your 'existing' websites? links? and overall promotional efforts?

So far, one product I was promoting silently disappeared without warning; Instant-Paycheck by Ewen Chia. While I did well with that program, it was actually a fellow Warrior who informed me my signature link (website) contained 'dead links.'

Upon further inspection, the program no longer seems to exist in the ClickBank Marketplace.

As such, I am really curious to see...How long it will take CB to remove non-compliant vendors/products?

I don't think it affects me at all.

I'm pretty sure I don't promote any products with any of "that stuff" on the sales pages anyway. At least I hope not. (One needs to check, periodically, that vendors haven't changed their sales pages, of course).

I think there'll be really large numbers of people here unaffected by it, actually. I did read it all, a couple of weeks ago, and had a think about it, and it struck me that the only people troubled by it might be people who like deceiving others and imagine that they benefit from that?

Yes - I'm also curious. It's all good, anyway. For vendors, affiliates, customers, ClickBank and our collective reputations in general.

Not sure if they will remove them straight away.

You will see plenty of changes with those sorts of sales pages that is for sure.

I actually spent a lot of time last week on the phone with Clickbank to make sure all my sites were in order but to be honest I knew they were pretty much ok.

Had to make a few changes with wording etc...

Will be interesting to see what happens to the "wild claims" sales pages if they are not taken down though!

Good riddance. The less scammy products out there, the more trust towards the industry in general (= more sales).

IMO, affiliates can have a major impact in separating the wheat from the chaff. Don't promote crap.

For the record, I am glad these measures are being implemented on ClickBank.

One more fake screen shot, bad actor, or 18 minute video of nothing but hype, and I would have baker-acted myself for an in-depth psychological evaluation!

I even fell for one of those auto-blogging products which fell short after delivery.

Then today, while checking to see if "G" indexed my new project, I see all these 'auto-blogs' showing up with my URL in their sites description in SERP's, basically displaying all my meta data: Title, Site Description, and even one with my YouTube video, and the sites still had the {synonyms} in brackets, from a failed spin/auto-blog attempt...pathetic!

To think of "How many of these sites are strewn across the net is almost scary."

Especially, if you consider I had just started building this site 4-5 days ago and already my contents being scraped and being improperly displayed. Perhaps NOT specific to CB, but if they start the revolution against these garbage products, hopefully others will follow suite.

I had tried (for a long time) to find a few honest MMO products, in hopes to save beginner's (like myself) time and money. Unless I know it's solid, or it comes highly recommended, best to leave well enough alone, and focus on the many other niches available in CB.

I do believe there are some 'golden nuggets' in the way of 'training programs' in CB, but I am still skeptical as to whether I should just wait altogether on promoting any MMO type of product?

I had planned to build entire campaign(s) around Kelly Felix's "Bring the Fresh" or Chris Farrell's new program, and Eben Pagan's "GURU MasterClass... but again, I have decided to wait.

Once Eben closes the doors to his new training, I will probably pull the plug on nearly all the MMO type promotions I started dabbling into. (Rookie mistake!).

None-the-less, I haven't really started to promote much of anything yet, as I have been collecting information, tools, and insight as to "How to" do it right.

It might interest you to know it's now on Plimus. I got an email just a few minutes ago about it.
