CRAIGLIST QUESTION: PLEASE HELP. How Do I...

I wast craiglist.com recently and i noticed that a lot of people need my service and which is something I have been wanting to do for a long time but did not get any response here.

I will like to send emails to this prospects but i noticed that their only means of contact is through the craiglist kind of email ex. 123456H@craiglist.com my question now is that if i send an email with gmail to this kind of craiglist email id, would the prospect get it? Or how can I contact them.

Thank you.

Of course, right inside their mailbox, they would get your mails from your gmail add.

Yes, they will get it. It's Craigslist's way of keeping personal email addresses private. Once you hear back from the person, you can ask them for their email address. Hope that helps!

Just as everyone has said, they will get your message. Just copy that 12235gh@craigslist.org email address and paste it into the "To:" section in your email client. This will ensure your recipient gets the message.

Typically a marketer will make an innocent first contact inquiry, when the advertiser replies to you, it will be with their own email address, you then have an address not monitored by Craigslist.

I don't have the specific numbers, but too many message from the same email address might be locked by Craigslist, I believe the pros switch email accounts after a certain number of messages.

Yea, if they really are interested in your services, that's how the people on Craigslist expect to be contacted. You should be fine.

I agree with the suggestion to set up an email dedicated to just your Craigslist service.

Most ads say you can not contact the person except for what they posted that ad about.

Not sure if the OP is finding lots of people asking for help or not.

My contact to them is strictly businers wise and solely for the ads which the posted there on craiglist. But has anyone had success doing this?

Stop fooling yourself about not spamming these folks because that's what you're doing. You're sending them an unsolicited email.

I run lots of ads on Backpage and get these 'helpfull' emails all the time. I report them as abuse.

Be careful you don't end up losing your email privileges over spamming issues.

The ads you want to be answering are the ones that specifically request your response. That doesn't sound like what's happening here.

I have done some but not sure if it is the same sort of thing.

What is the ad you are replying to?
