I have a wordpress blog I just put up this AM and cannot figure out how to edit a "built in" alt tag for 5 graphics.

whenever I haver over the images they still have the stock tags and I can't figure out where to edit them.

You can find the site by looking in my sig line

Any and all help is appreciated!

    The pennies picture in the center most likely has its alt tag in the css sheet.

    The boxes on the right should be located in your sidebar.php template located in themes---> theme editor

      Try this. Log in to edit your page/post. Click on the picture and then on the edit picture icon.

      Choose advance settings in the edit dialog box. The alt text is in there.

      You can't declare an alt tag in CSS it must be in the HTML source. Look in the theme editor and use find (ctrl+f) to locate the text alt="

        You are right about the css comment above. My mistake It's always easier to explain when you are looking at what you are trying to fix...lol
