First thing you would want to do is niche research just like you would with any other products you are promoting.

If you want it to do well during christmas, you don't necessarily have to make "christmas" me part of the keyword. Think of a product that everyone will be ordering around christmas time and then do some research on it to see how well you will be able to rank in it.

Maybe more towards christmas you can change the theme of your site to look more christmas friendly and put info about how your product is great as a christmas present.

    hope this helps

Yes, typical niche research is the way to go.

Think of what the hot toys, electronics, gifts, etc. will be this year. Pay attention to TV ads, magazine ads, etc.

This thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-calendar.html may be of help to you too.

Look for commercials and do inside research on the major Toy Companies.

Go to competing toy sites and have a look at their top ten lists or bestsellers.

Use those and build your own pages for each one.

Just use your head with keywords for new products that don't show up in the GKWT!

In my experience, my best keywords came from just putting myself in the shopper's shoes. If the product isn't on the market yet, you aren't going to get any search information. Of course, these keywords could still have MASSIVE potential.

...and people that rely on keyword information won't write on the topic, leaving it wide open. Then when it becomes a popular topic, you're ranked right on top!

Bottom line- Trust your instinct, and act on it.

You can also take a look at the "most gifted" and "most wished for" lists on Amazon's website.

Thanks very much for your replay

Some times i can find a right keyword, however, i have no experience for a profitable products. May be i choose the wrong niche.
I usually choose product from bestsellers and lower than 300$
Which type product do you choose and whats the price? Do you think the bestsellers are too competitive?

The advice you got from warrior here is great. You even got a product list from Gaz Cooper.

You can get started with that.

I just want to add one more tip. One of the fastest ways to do research is to leverage other people's effort. So go ahead and type the keywords you think is used most often during christmas and look for the top sites. See what they offer in there.

Also look at the Google ads. People running ads are doing it to get sales, so it should give you an idea of what you can also sell.

Hope that gave you an additional idea on what to do.

Like other posters have been quick to point out already, find out the Christmas toys that are the hottest selling items, and sell those. It goes without saying that if your goal is to make sales, you want to put up the items that are more likely to sell. Also, make sure to study your competition in order to see what works for them. That can help guide you in the right direction.

Lots of good advice already in this thread, but wanted to add my thoughts.

Toys are always great for a Christmas site as the top toys are big sellers. But don't just think of toys, think of grouping gifts by lists. Thinks like top ten toys for boys, top ten toys for girls, etc.

Then expand it, top gifts for Mom, top gifts for Dad, top gifts for toddlers, top gifts for your Husband/Wife, etc. Making shopping lists for people can capture a lot of keywords both product related and not.

If you really want to have some fun coming up with ideas try this...

Give your kids, nieces, nephews, or neighbor's kids a game to play. Ask them if they had $300 to spend on Amazon what would they buy and let them create a wish list.

Do the same thing with your wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend, mom, dad, and other friends. Let them have fun creating lists and sending them to you.

Now, glance through the lists you get from everyone and see if there are any common themes or items. There is the start of a great Amazon site.

(P.S. - This game works perfectly year round, not just for Christmas.)
