Ezinearticles Stopped to Accept Unrelated Desciption Boxes?

Hi all,

Just one of my article got rejected because of unrelated description box.

I guess they have stopped accepting such articles...

Has anybody experienced the same issue currently?

hmm

They have, because we've had a couple of other relatively recent threads making the same point (I can't immediately find them, I'm afraid: people tend not to use accurate, descriptive titles like you did, and that makes "searching" difficult).

But I believe what you're saying is (at least) substantially correct; yes: it's a "known issue" and they're now strict about it.

There are still many articles in their database with unrelated resource-boxes, but as they explain openly on their blog, that doesn't mean that under the new policies/approaches they'd be accepted today. (They have the habit of discussing/explaining all this sort of stuff on their blog, rather than in their editorial guidelines, so even that tends not to be too easy to find).

It appears that linking to your EZA articles is something EZA does not appreciate either. This may be old news, but I have noticed over the past couple of months on sites where I have content being added from other sources, that if they are linking to an article they have posted on EZA, my broken link checker records a 403 Forbidden status for that link. I've not noticed it for any of the other article directories so far, but EZA is the one used most often.

No - not at all - not its value: its traffic and the link-juice of its backlinks, for sure - but those things are actually unconnected with the "value" of an article directory to a marketer. That's not what article directories are there for anyway.

They also need to get away to get affected with Google Panda. They need more relevant and good quality articles.
