I'm in the middle of building a bunch more aff. sniper sites with about 5-10 articles/reviews on each. Even with these new sites you think a pop-up or optin is still a good idea for brand new sites?

Thanks brother!

snipers sites are still working from what i am being told. I just sold my only one left in Feburary this year.

I would always test the squeeze page or the pop up, or exit pop up. I have found that one, always outpulls the other by a noticable percentage.

Isn't funny how sometimes the idea you think is the best, converts teh worst. That is why you must test until your fingers bleed!! :p:p

Celente you are what as know as a frikkin GODSEND to me today. Man if nothing else Iam tenacious. I am recovering from bankrucpty ( ex partner long story wiser now)

I have messed around and made loads of mistakes but finally I am starting to see a bit of internet light.

I have 60 people on my list, they are opting in at my wesbite... lots of work to get that right too.

I made $70 on clickbank in July but nothing since. I am working really hard on writing great content and promoting my blog on facebook. Its only been live since July and I get about 100 visitors a day... long long way to go. I just bought seo presser to get the keyword right.

anyway sorry way too much info...... its just you got me excited and insprired to really work smart at this stuff.....

I need a mentor... fancy helping me a bit... I am a fantastic life coach (trained by tony robbins) you probably dont need my help but we could maybe trade skills what do you think?

You're right, he wasn't necessarily a genius, but he was pretty smart. For one, he was a great tester and refiner. Great skills in IM! Surely we can learn something from this?

And if you make a lot of money and work hard, perhaps you can have others do a lot of the work for you and you take all the credit!

Congratulations, further proof that this method works and will still work for a long time to come. May I ask what method you used for traffic to your squeeze page? As you know, Google makes it more difficult to SEO a squeeze page, you can't use Google PPC etc?

I am a tracking nut. I even posted a while back how to comment on blogs properly.

I am finding commenting on high traffic blog and also trying to guest post on these works the best.

So simple, so stupid, so effective.

I kick myself for NOT starting to build a list back in 2003 when I first started
IM. I didn't build my first list until years later.

I've made as much as 5K from one email blast to my list. Granted, that's not
the insane 6 figures some of the big boys make from one blast, but it shows
how powerful list building can be.

And building a list is not hard. There are so many ways to do it, it's crazy.

Celente, your post is going to go over a lot of folk's heads because it's just
too damn simple and can't be that easy. But I was a skeptic too when I first
started. List building? PLEASE.

Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.

I'll NEVER make that mistake again.

Thanks mate! I am actually on one of your lists, and you are one of the good guys out there, that over deliver!

Isn't it funny that the simplest stuff with IM, is normally the most powerful.

I use to run through the forums, and kept seeing people say - MUST BUILD LIST, MUST BUILD LIST....and thought...that never works too! Oh, how wrong I was.

I think listbuilding is just one aspect to business...but if done correctly you can see some very profitable results....and fast too. Just have to get in there, make a few mistakes, test stuff, and then test some more and I am sure many people reading this will see some good results.

Diversify your traffic.

1) Find out which traffic gets you the most optins

2) Do more of that!

The money is in the list.................. Unfortunately, many still don't believe this or see it as a viable source of income.

There are many people online today that just create a squeeze page/opt in page and start using some of the easiest form of driving traffic to a site like article marketing, forum, blogging, social networking and direct all this traffic to the squeeze page and they are making good amount of money on a daily basis.

I like iContact and aweber.

But I still prefer aweber. I think it wins the race by a few body lengths.

Congrats for your success ( if there is really )

But from what I have noticed in the past few days...

These kind of threads are turning out to be Free WSO threads

where the OP explains his success and shows a screenshot of his income ( the same as in sales letters)

And then there is a signature in the end saying "Find out how to make so and so money"

Not accusing or pin-pointing or being an idiot, but just my observation

I'm assuming then that he has another account under his real name. If not,
I'm failing to see where the problem is.

Many Warriors here have accounts not using their real name, such as MYOB,
TPW and other well respected Warriors. And even Chris Sutton has his alter
ego, The Hillbilly Marketer.

Of course maybe I'm just missing something here that isn't being said.

But not using a real name, in and of itself, is no big deal.

List building works if you also work the list and give great content
to you subscribers.

I have several lists I've created over the years although I don't send out
to them much. Only when I have something I believe they will be interested
in will I send an email.

The only problem with this method is how long will it be before you make that kind of money again? I assume you won't be sending out the same offer to the list again and you are not promoting something new to them 52 weeks a year.

For me, my plan is just to keep building and adding to the list an offering another affiliate product, and even creating my own little product so that I can keep the 100% of the money.

I will also be keeping a list of those that buy. A list of buyers is much better than a list of freebie seekers, once I learned how to do this properly and how to segrigate lists properly you can make good profits.

Its all about working smarter, not harder especially when it comes to list building.

Having a list of proven buyers is like having having gold in your backpocket!

Yes he created a video about his income. That cleared that up...I was confused about the name thing and steve brought up a good point. If he is using a regular name with no bad intent then I don't see that as a problem. There are people with WSO's who aren't using their real names either.
Now if he is doing something else like multiple accounts or something then that's different.

I didn't see any names on that account.

And why on earth would anyone claiming to be that successful,
want to cover it up with a fake name?

LOL I can't win. Maybe I just was giving him the benefit. Ok what could he do to prove he is a success? Technically videos can be faked too, so, what would squash it for you and be full proof?

As for the fake name that can be explained though I might not be the one who can convey that as well as someone else.

I noticed the sig along time ago, I just assumed it came with the territory of his success.

Celente maybe show your name or company name in video? i think that is what igobbin is saying?

I gave them 3 x 1000 word emails on auto responder, i got these from a niche forum I visited and re wrote the top 3 posts I could find. That got high star ratings (4 and 5 stars)

Makes me wonder how many of your posts on this forum have been taken from other forums.
