Warrior Poll: Prefer Set Prices In WSO or Dime Sales?

I just finished going through a very long thread discussing pros and cons of set pricing versus raising the price w/ set amount of sales. So let's just make it clear... which one do you as a warrior prefer? set price or dime sale?

I know a lot of warriors debate which to do when placing their product up as a WSO. Maybe we can help each other by sounding off. The floor is open for your input.

Set up an actual Warrior Poll or delete your thread.

Also take the time to set up your real signature via, User CP -- Edit Signature.

As a seller, I prefer dime sale.

As a consumer, does it bother me that others use dime sales? No.

Just to let you know, before you get in trouble with a mod, your link is supposed to go in your signature file, not in your post. You can set that up by clicking User CP in the left side of the red nav bar at the top of the forum, and you'll see Edit Signature as a choice.

As to your poll, don't expect a definitive answer but here's my answer...

    It depends.

When I'm a buyer, I like a set price if I can't buy right then for some reason. If I can buy right then, I like that I got a deal so dimesales are cool.

As a seller, dimesales can drive early response and get you a much better result overall. This isn't set in stone, but with many products, it works great.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

Warriors love dime sales like Germans love David Hasselhoff.

    My 2c.

If your offer sucks, even free doesn't help - I might buy though, if you're paying me to - and you pay enough...

Otherwise - in order of preference..
Dimesale with a set maximum price.. that's not too high, from a new / not so well known seller.

Coupons for established products (I'm a cheapskate - a penny saved is 2 earned..)

When I'm convinced I can't do without your offer, and don't find any way to shave the price off - I'll still buy. Kicking and screaming, raving and ranting.... out comes my wallet..

Dime sales make me puke; as a consumer - unless of course, I want the offer and get in quickly and early

Still speaking as a consumer, if I am on a list and I am notified about a dime sale (offering something that I want) and I get to the dime sale and the price is too high, I spit venom and punish the list owner by unsubscribing. That makes me feel better!

Now as I have a split personality - speaking as a business owner; if the statistics prove in the long run, that the dime sale system or model, in it's particular arena, earns the most money. Then to coin a phrase, "I'll be all over it like a cheap suit". All over the dime sale model that is - just to clarify.

When you think in a particular way; whatever is on offer and whether or not you do or don't manage to get it at your preferred price - with the speed of change in the Internet environment - it's no big deal. Someone will bring out an improved and updated version probably as soon as next month. Possibly at a lower price too!

Just my sarcastic thoughts on the issue,

      Jeff.

Dime sales massively increase conversions. Who cares if people "like" them or not? People don't vote with POLLS, they vote with their MONEY. When someone buys your product, it's a vote for your product. WAY more people "vote" for WSO's with dime sales than ones without.

My answer to this question can go BOTH ways..

If you are just starting a WSO or need credibility, a set price is good. (Cheap is your best bet unless you are offering some CRAZY value that WILL get results!)

The more credibility you have, the higher you will be able to raise your set price over time!

I do, however, LOVE dime sales.. Why?

Because dime sales give a sense of urgency, convert better, and will generate a quicker income!

Good luck! (About to release my WSO today!

The best thing is to test and see what works for you and your buyers.

My preference as a buyer is a set price. I often won't buy right away, so, on a dime sale, that means the price is higher later (unless no one is buying), and so when I come back after deciding it was worth the initial price and see that it is now a much higher price, I change my mind and don't buy, usually.

Here's the dilemma--as a buyer, I hate dimesales. I almost never "dive right in." So I perceive a loss. Even if I value that WSO at a much higher price than I bought it for. (Stupid, huh?)

As a seller, you have to love them. I don't have concrete data, but from what I've seen here and in other forums, the perception is overwhelmingly that dimesales work far better than a set-price sale.

Thanks guys for your input... I think the dime sell tactic is a definite leader in preferred. Just a quick clarification...dime sell is just the technique... not necessarily the amount it goes up per sale right? So I understand the logic of doing the dime sale up to where you get your costs back for having the WSO... But at what rate would you recommend an increase? Thanks in advance for more details. You guys are great!

I can understand the pro's and con's of each, and to choose is going to be challenging. I do know some new internet marketers are looking for information how to build and market an effective and profitable website. If I had not found this team, this would be my solution. Thank goodness for you all!!

      Don't intend to offend but...
I don't understand what you mean or how this is relevant to this thread.
