CPV: 50,000 Visitors/Mnth $600 Revenue/Mnth for Brand New Site?

So I was looking at some Flippa listings and I saw a site that was making over $600/mnth with Adsense and was getting around 50,000 unique visitors per month and it was a new site.

The seller says that he is getting the visitors from CPV (Cost Per View) site at the cost of $100 per month. One of the stipulations of the listing was that you would continue to pay him the $100 per month for the CPV service. He refused to divulge the name of the CPV service. It sounds to me like he has become a CPV reseller for the service. Whether or not his Adsense screenshot is a fraud, I don't know.

Here's the listing. It sold for a low amount considering the revenue

But anyway, is anyone using CPV services for traffic? One of the commenters on the listing recommended directcpv.com, when the seller wouldn't name the company that the traffic is coming from. So I'm checking it out, but know little about CPV.

Anyone using a CPV service for traffic?

I am not using them directly but I am using fiverr people offering 10 000 visitors for $5 who I am sure use some sort of CPV provider. From my stats I am getting the visitors (over 3000 in the last week ) and they even click on other pages every now and again (95 % bounce rate).

I do not have adsense on the site I just did it to test the numbers because I could not believe that anyone could send 10 000 visitors for $5, so I think anyone with adsense may get a few clicks through, and it could be profitable.

Don't mean to be a retard here. But what's Fiver?

Does it work? does it give you visitors linked to your website niche?

Fiverr.com, where people sell gigs for $5.

I've personally used CPV traffic in the past but it's very costly although you do make some good returns on the cost.

I myself used "mediatraffic.com" but they require $200 to fund a brand new account and also there minimum spend on traffic per day is $10. So a full months traffic would cost $300, which is quite a lot of money, when not knowing the outcome of the profit.

But... i mainly concentrate on more organic websites then buying traffic.

I think this one, directcpv.com, only requires $100 deposit into your account. I haven't yet checked out if there is a minimum spend, but 50,000 uniques is nothing to sneeze at if it increases your site revenue to $600/mnth.

Just to let you know, its against AdSense policies to allow CPV traffic to a website that has adsense on it.

So unless he's got a lander to funnel the visitors through, he could get his and whoever buys this website's AdSense account banned.

Now that's useful info. Thanks for letting me know.
I do have some good affiliate ads for the niche I'm thinking of. Would like to have both the ads and Adsense on it though.

Do you have a link to the exact policy stating that CPV traffic is against Google's terms, i've just reread through there terms and conditions and can not find where it states they do not allow CPV traffic.

I used to do something similar 12 years back in 1999. It's easy money when done right.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that whoever ended up with that site got ripped off and ripped off hard. With content that looks like it was ripped directly from an article directory and a shady "traffic generation" tactic to boot--this listing screams "stay away!"

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

I tend to agree with you. I wanted to bid on it at first, but he was so secretive about the traffic that I lost trust in him. In addition, paying him $100/mnth without knowing what exactly he is doing ... well, not for me.

But if CPV traffic is a good way to monetize a site, and I genuinely don't know because I've never tried it, I'd be willing to give it a try on one of my own sites.

Googled "using cpv traffic for adsense" and found this link:

CPV is a different traffic beast than the average marketer is prepared for. I used it before it got saturated by others and it can convert on offers. As far as adsense, I WOULD NOT recommend it. The user agents from where these companies get their traffic, via adware, will get your account banned, trust me. Google is VERY smart, and you will get caught unless you are a pro.
