Amazon is rolling out new site designs, namely to help with
tablets. No word on when, but likely 4Q with busy tablet
selling season coming.

Gone are the blue menus and buttons, making way for a slicker white and grey interface that reduces clutter and makes navigation a lot easier.

A great study in UI.

I've always thought amazon's websites are the most ugliest and worst navigation design there is. The designs in the images make amazon more appealing. I like the look of the new design very much.

    A thumbs up from me.

    Makes sense.

The top-left is the best spot to catch someones attention so I see why they're clearing up the left side to let people focus on the product. Should be interesting to see how people react.

I welcome this... the left side navigation drives me insane.
