For Videos, Should I Pick 240p, 480p, or 720p?

INTERNET MARKETING

I am creating a number of videos to put on Youtube and similar sites to help create additional traffic and build some backlinks back to my site. Since I would want the most people to see these videos play as possible and avoid the "green screen", is there any reason why I would not choose the 240p or 480p? Am I correct in thinking that using the highest quality ones would be a mistake at this time as it would not allow many people to actually view the videos properly?

You should upload the highest quality video format you have. Youtube will automatically create lower quality versions and have a link the HD version.

Personally I hate watching video screenshots where the video resolution is so low it's hard to make out any detail.

I personally watch in 420p because my Internet is to slow for 720p. I would make sure all options are offered.
