A Vital But Often Overlooked Marketing Lesson ...

I can't begin to say how many websites I've read that throw away a
very important opportunity to sell their product and that's in the
name and "pronouns" they use.

For example, a sales letter selling an ebook will keep saying, "this ebook"
"the ebook" ... Same for a DVD or a course. Check this quick video I did
that illustrates how to get rid of this common mistake ...

    Thanks Ray, I pulled up the copy on an ebook I have and it turns out I have the word e-book and ebook in the copy 31 times! I think I'll spend some time this evening sprucing this up a bit...

      Post the URL for the sales letter if you care to and I'll give you some
      examples of 'synonyms' you can use--just as a further illustration.

      Here are some replacement terms you can use:

      -78 pages Bee-Training Manual [or whatever the page number is]
      -Manual for Bee-Training Dummies
      -success guide for Bee-Training beginners
      -Beekeeping crashcourse
      -Beekeeping launchpad ...

      You get the idea ... these all give a benefit and variety to the letter.

      Great video. It gave me some techniques that I really never thought of before.

      I usually don't use the word book. I usually use guide, course or some other word that holds more perceived value

      ex. The Architect Career Guide Will Show You...

      I've never thought of describing the guide the way you do in the video.

        Glad that you got some value from this. The Guarantee and the Order Form
        are other places where you can use these selling terms as well for your
        products.

        Even the Unsubscribe Link for emails -- "If you no longer want to
        receive this power-packed, informative and cutting edge ...."
        rather than just "newsletter".
