Major Security Flaw for Facebook Fan Pages and Groups

just had this happen to someone who worked VERY HARD to build a group with hundreds of members, and this is exactly what happened to them...

    That's not a security flaw. That is a flaw of the page owner to not require some things before handing off privs.

    I'd never hand over permissions to someone I don't really know or trust.

      Well when FB states in black and white that the original admin can't be removed when in reality they can be removed by added admins then it is a security flaw.

      If FB removes that verbiage and states that new admins can remove the main admin account then yes, it's not a FB security flaw but that's now how it's playing right now.

      But agree, you would have to be on crack to give a Fiverr peep you don't know from Adam admin rights.

        Basically, it was a case of one of the admins had their computer hacked, and the hackers then accessed here facebook account. This could happen to anybody. It was not a case of handing over access to someone they didn't know (full explanation).
