Newbie - How can I copy everything from one site into Wordpress?

Hi there, this feels like a really dumb question so please forgive me. All my websites are in Wordpress - except for one old site I made a long time ago using SiteBuildit. (I know, right?)

I don't want to start another thread/discussion about SBI! I just want to know how can I copy everything from that site and put it into a new Wordpress site. It would be more beautiful and easier to manage. The current site is ugly and hard to make changes because I only look at it about once a year and then I forget how to do everything on SBI. UGH.

I really can't imagine trying to copy and paste every single page and I'm thinking there has to be a better way than that. :confused:

I would really appreciate some advice.

P.S. Does anyone know if I actually own my domain with SBI or do they own it? I registered it through them. Thanks again.

    How many pages does the site have? I don't think there is any other way to do it than to just install Wordpress on your new site and then copy and paste the individual page content over one by one. If the site doesn't have very many pages then this will not take you very long at all.

    Thanks for your reply Will. It has about 75 pages. If that's the only way then perhaps I'll outsource it to someone fabulous on fiverr

    No other way to do it that I know of. Just think of it as a project and start doing it or outsource it if it is a large site.

    If you have traffic and links to those pages you'll need to set up permanent page-to-page redirects because your WordPress permalinks format will be different from your current site URL format. (People typing the old site URL will get a 404 once you've shifted everything over).
