Setting up a revenue sharing site?

Suppose I want to set up a blog site on the topic of "home and family"

I want multiple categories such as: home tips, cooking, babies and kids, etc...

I would like each category to have a different writer who would share in the revenue (affiliates and adsense) that is earned from their content.

How is this done or can it be done?

Thanks.

Sure, it can be done. You could hire someone from Elance to help you build that kind of website.

I ran a site like this.

It required about 4 hours a day. That might not sound like much, but that's 4 hours of administration - ie finding new writers, editing writer's content, setting up ads and affiliates, dividing up the money if need be.

You need a LOT of visitors before AdSense allows revenue sharing, ie, 100,000 a month I think (last I checked).

As for affiliate earnings, do you trust yourself enough to be honest and share the affiliate profits? I know I did, but I was briefly part of a program where the owner kept a lot of my affiliate earnings.
