How you people manage this?

For my WF addiction, I (attempt to) budget my time. Stop by a couple times a day and do a quick scan of unread post titles, but only on a couple forums. I realized early on that I could easily put in too many hours reviewing a lot of posts in too many forums. I figure if I skim the titles I might miss something I'd be interested in, but oh well. If I never found WF I wouldn't have a chance to read it either.

Since my main interests are in a couple particular forums I'll focus on them when I visit. Occasionally, when I think I have the time, I'll be a bit more careful in reading the titles and I'll look over posts in the forums I normally don't review.

Now, about hitting the WSO buy buttons.....have you thought about a second mortgage?

    Peace

The best way to purchase WSOs is to work on your business and only look for a product when the need arises. If you need to do a sales letter and don't know how, then you go looking for a copywriting product. If you need to drive more traffic, then you go looking for a guide on increasing traffic.

That doesn't always happen of course , but buying products only when you need to use them ensures that you will actually use what you buy. Otherwise you run the risk of wasting all your money on WSOs and not making any money.

So keep a list of the WSOs that interest you and come back to them later, either as the need arises or at least the next day so you get a chance to think it over.

You need to have your business running first. Along the way you will encounter problems or dead ends. Then its ok for you to come here and seek for an answer. Don't wast your time just trying to find a business idea here there is too much diversion. You should use the warrior forum only if you have a clear question in mind that needs an answer and then go back and implement it.

Hope that helps (I was here to get ideas to build my list btw hehe I found the WWSGD plugin and I'm off to try that)

There's nothing better than having a handful of WSO's and discovering each can compliment the next tripling the strength of your marketing plans.

      I've found some real gems.

First of all welcome to the WF!
YES it can be very addictive here. I try to avoid the WSO forum just becuase there are soooooooooo many offers over there. If I do head over there wanting to purchase something I use the search feature of WF to find something in the area I am looking in.

I don't just buy any random products I look for software, plug ins, and reports that will benefit my business plan and are in the area which I work in.

Stay focused, build a strategy and stick to it. Only buy products once you are making some cash.

    Just my 2c

I had a really bad wso addiction for a while.

I got over it when one day I looked at my paypal account...

You see those sales letters with the screen shots of all those paypal payments, that massive figure at the bottom of the screen showing how much they have made, well my account looked like that except all the money was going OUT !!!

Not a single transaction coming into my account..

up till now there are still a few that I have not even got round to downloading the products let alone reading them.

Now the only stuff I buy is software or something related to what I am doing and I am trying to limit what I buy to just 1 or 2 a month max.

I don't go into the wso section as much as I use to anymore. Every time I do I see all those threads about making 2k or 3k a week or 10k a month and I see that screen shot of the paypal account and then I remember what my account looks like and I run for the hills.

You can find a lot of great into being shared just in threads.

In worrior you can get barely all what you require in internet marketing. I spend hours reading over and never have the feeling that am wasting my time.
A friend of mine learnt the whole internet marketing on his own through worrior and now i admitt he is better that me.

      Greetings "Sensei-tachi"

I kept seeing the term Warriors Forum and thought it was like for K-1 fighting or something.

Then, when my interest turned to IM after my retirement, I finally "got it" and spent countless hours reading all the stuff written on lots of IM products.

The comments some of you have provided on this forum have helped a lot to influence what products to give a go and which ones to wait and see how they evolve before spending money on them.

For me, the forum is the most valuable tool around for getting a feel for what works and what needs more work before it will work for us.

I offer a deep bow of respect in honor of all you dedicated contributors.

      Arigato,

      Newbie Japan

I recommend just not clicking into the WSO section.

If you get a ton of emails from guys promoting WSOs, unsubscribe or filter them to an Archive file or something.

It's just like shopping at a retail store. The best way not to buy is to never go there in the first place!

I don't venture into the WSO section very often and even then when I do its mainly to see what kind of thread titles are generating the most interest that day. If I am looking for a product I'll go in looking specifically for what I want. If its not in there, then I'm usually not in there.

I don't really think the forum can be that addicting. It's an interest place to be, but none-the-less I just enjoy talking and interacting with a marketing community. It's a fun place to learn the craft of internet marketing if you ask me.

It's easily done... and the best advice in this thread is to only get things that fit your business model or where you are at with your business.

It's kind of pointless knowing how to make a huge list from your visitors when you have yet to learn how to build a site or get traffic...
