I have a WP blog that has been getting a lot of new user registrations lately. How can I market to these people? Are they on a list? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The first step is to make sure that these are actually people. Awhile back, I had a quick flush of new registrations and every single one of them was bogus. It was a robot looking for backlinks and the ability to spam comments.

I just flushed them, deleted their garbage, and moved on. Since nothing stuck, they've either taken my urls off their list or given up. I lean towards the former...

Settings > General: Membership - UNCHECK the box.

Unless it's a "community type" blog you do NOT need any registrations. Simply, don't allow it. Problem solved
