Quastion about article and backlinks

Hello,
I want to ask one qustion.If I submit article in order to get backlink and in article I add another keyword linking to another url with article, than in another article also is keyword linking to 3 article and so on.. So it is possible that than google indexing article as backlink also indexing another articles as backlinks to another url .

Article 1 - keyword linking to article 2 - keyword linking to article 3 ...

If I have site with 5 pages and articles optimized by keyword,so I only submit one article to directories and have backlinks to all 5 urls and keywords.
Please correct me if I am wrong Hope you understand me

    Nowadays, one-way links are preferred. For instance, you have a blog and write articles and submit them to different articles sites which all lead back to your blog.

    Make your articles look natural and don't write them only for the purpose of submitting links. If you keep it like this and don't submit the same article to a number of different sites then you might get the backlink that you were looking for the in the first place.
