Affiliate Link w/ Pixel Tracking In PDF

I want to place an affiliate link from Commission Junction into a PDF (using Open Office) . However, the links from CJ use pixel tracking (or something like that :confused and I don't know how to correctly set up the link correctly with the linking option in Open Office.

Anyone familiar with this?

Highlight the text you want to hyperlink, go to - Insert, select Hyperlink. And paste your text into the field. But if you have a website you could create a redirect, that way even if the merchant discontinues you could always change the link (CPA offers often expires).

Thanks for your suggestion thecableguy. I know how to hyperlink but since there are two URLS I see and the link field in Open Office only says "target" I didn't know if it could go to two URLS. Example:

    Shop for <a href="http://www.crazylookingurlhere.com/click-3851541-10326613" target="_top">THIS PRODUCT</a> BY THIS MERCHANT<img src="http://www.differentcrazylookingurlhere.com/image-3850041-11245613" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>

I think your redirect idea may be just what I needed, but I might need to modify it to fit my needs. I'll try that - thank you.
