Question for those that have shifted from digital products to physical products

Im all for system automation and this is why I initially chose to sell digital products. In the past Ive owned websites whereby I took orders and physically posted stuff off daily.

I was hoping not to revisit this business model due to the labour involved.

However, unfortunately (or so it seems) refunds are becoming an increasing problem for me, amongst other things - selling digital products.

You can read my concerns in this thread here

Having said that, Im considering making my next product a physical one, but hopefully retaining some of that automation.

Ive searched over numerous threads here regarding product fulfillment and print on demand and just wanted to ask others, especially those that have already been through this process, what their thoughts are, or who they would recommend using.

In particular some first hand experiences, rather than just suggestions.

At this point Id like to use Paypal as a payment processor.

Thanks guys.

I use Amazon's createspace for tutorials on DVD though you can also use them for books, CD's & MP3 downloads, though there are cheaper options for these. I can highly recommend the service for DVD distribution and the great thing is Amazon will handle any customer service issues.

Mullguy, is there anyway to sell a DVD on CreateSpace other than through their estore for a 15% commission or on Amazon.com with a 45% commission?

ramone_johnny, While I haven't done it personally, I've seen several people recommend dvd-fulfillment.com for integration with Paypal
