Ebay has been something that I have enjoyed doing for over 6 years now. I have just been buying and selling now and again. When I was at college studying IT i wanted to earn some extra cash, so I started out selling CD's. I was buying them wholesale and then reselling them for a £1 per album. At the start of my little business I thought I was doing rather well, but as it turned out because I was only making very little profit it was far more effort and time wasting and ebay fees took money off the final price that is was not worth me selling these products.

I have come to a point now where I am realising that Ebay was something that I really enjoyed doing and now would like to start it up again.

When it comes to selling on ebay I can sell anything that you can give me. However what I would like to do is to sell products for companies in the UK with their accounts and gaining some commission out of it.

I have thought also about selling Digital products on ebay, but just wanting to find out where I can buy cheap CDs to copy the digital products on and also where the best place is to buy cases for these CDS. UK Based.

Please if anyone knows or who can help me have a success on EBAY selling there products or digital products I would be very much appreciated.

Thanks to all those who reply in advanced.

Well it can be for any company really but I would need to just use your own ebay accounts to sell products. Will need pictures to see that you have it in your own hand that you want to sell and a full honest review of the product on how good the condition is.

When i started online marketing I started like you.

Few months ago, Ebay added me to the top rated sellers with 100% feedback

However, I don't really sell anything over there anymore, I am sorry Ebay, but these fees can be used to advertise on first page on Google. The fees reach up to 15%

It sounds like you might want to become an eBay Trading Assistant. It's like consignment and you make a commission. However, I agree that fees eat up a lot of the profits.

Like "onegoodman" said above I was enjoying selling on ebay until ebay fees went through the roof, I mostly sell computer hardware and software stuff because this is my strong area of interest, but recently the profit margin has decreased because of increased ebay fee. Example, I sold couple of HP Palm 3 phones recently, guess what I was charged on a £320 phone? £34...ah, then PayPal took about £8, and then postage cost...I gave up.

Not trying to discourage you sir, just sharing my personal experience. Thanks

I know ebay has a lot of fees. So this is why I want to help other companies with selling there products online for them and earning a bit of commission. Yes an ebay trading assistant would be right up my street as I have lots of experience in this area.

Can anyone help me out in the right direction on where I want to go. How can I become an ebay trading assistant.

      Thanks

        Albag,

Check out this link from eBay on what a trading assistant is and how to get started:

I think with the increase in Ebay fees, it's more important than ever to sell things with good margins. PC hardware, as mentioned above, is very difficult to squeeze a profit out of. And remember you're going to have to also get your fees out of it too.
