Depends. I have better success with adsense sites. Or CPA offers.

Adsense is easy if you have lets say 5 sites.. making $1/day. That's $150 a month.

I'd go with review sites, better chance of making larger amounts of cash. Get onto jvnotifypro.com and see what the upcoming launches are, create and SEO a site and when the launch comes you'll see quality traffic coming with good conversions.

I've found Adsense sites a little easier to get going, as all you have to do is insert the code and watch the ads roll in. But product review sites have their advantages too. I say just do good keyword research and tackle something you'll be able to rank for. You can always run tests between Adsense and Amazon ads.

Why choose one when you could do both? Create review sites and sprinkle a few adsense ads on them, I would limit myself to one or the other.. Just my 2 pennies...

Ugghh, not that it actually matters much, what is your point here? Did I say something to offend you? Lost...

Don't take James1986 personally. If you look at "it's" other posts, you'll clearly see that james1986 is a bot and not a real person.

I agree with this, although because I'm in California and my Amazon account was closed when the state wanted Amazon to start collecting sales tax I'm not doing as many product review sites these days.

When I was doing more product review sites I would have pages on my sites that were product reviews with links to Amazon and I would have other pages on my sites based around other keywords for the niche and monitize those pages with adsense. I never had adsense and Amazon product links on the same page but certainly on the same site.

        Why not do both?

The key is to not put all your eggs in one basket.

You could have a great Adsense empire going and google ban your account with giving you a reason and no change to correct the issue.

Creating review sites can work but require work and only pay if you get someone to buy using your link.

Ah.. I've never seen "it's" name either. I just thought it a very odd reply to what you said so I looked at prior posts and they're all kind of like that.. badly worded comments that make no sense.

I think the better advice is to just create a website in a good niche, get some traffic, and THEN decide how to monetize it. Some niches do great with adsense, some have good affiliate opportunities, and it's sometimes hard to tell what the better method will be...

site with just a squeeze page is the best. A list building site is the best. Once you have the prospect in your list then drag them to your adsense site or product review pages that's upto you. Just make sure that where you drag them converts well and makes you $$$...

you're welcome... here's the system you can use...

        Step 1 - Create a simple lead-capturing minisite in
your niche that you're targeting. Create a package
worth $97 and give it for FREE to your subscribers.

Step 2 - Use a smart autoresponder where a visitor to
your site has to subscribe to your list to receive your
        $97 free gift.

Step 3 - As soon as the visitor subscribes to your list
follow up with an ecourse that contains quality
information. Promote your own product or an affiliate
        product in the ecourse.

Step 4 - Promote your lead capturing minisite and start
        building your subscriber list.

Step 5 - Create an ezine or a newsletter every week and
blast it to your list. Make sure your ezine contains
quality information that earns you your subscribers
        trust and builds your credibility.

Step 6 - Blast an offer or sales pitch to your list
periodically and sell them something. Please DO sell
something and don't feel shy to ask your subscribers
        for money...

it depends on the price for the keyword.

if your getting targetted traffic for expensive items then do product reviews. also if its for a buying keyword then yes thats probably the good option.

Or if the adsense CPC is higher than the estimated price you'll get if they buy the item above then go with adsense. also i would say that keywords that indicate that someone is looking for info rather than to buy something go with adsense

Well I have been working with the both since 2010 and so far more success come from adsense rather than my product review site.

i just add adsense to one of my review sites and i get good clicks, even with about 10 unique visitors a day, i get 1$ a day from one or tow clicks and no sale withing months, i will start considering adsense instead of amazon widgets

Well it depends on what you are upto. I mean what you are going to offer a product, service or knowledge. In case if you just have knowledge your earning source will be adsense but if you have some service or product that you can also earn by selling them

I LOVE adsense sites. I have been building them for years now and have over 100 sites that I host. Each one of them is earning and I flip about 1 per week on Flippa.

I recommend adsense sites to everyone becuase they are very easy to maintain. Once you have built it and done a little SEO it can bring money in for you each and every month without any work.

I love set and forget streams of income.

I have never really worked with product review sites but I hear that they work excellently with amazon associates.

        You are very welcome Spen,
Yes I work with wordpress. I find it the easiest to use and when Flipping sites (Which is something I do a lot of LOL) I find customers are attracted to wordpress because its so easy to use.

I don't use Amazon associates because where I live the commission rates are capped very low! I have heard people in the US having amazing results with it but no its not something I use.
