Ok, I hve decided to run a little challenge that will hopefully motivate a few of you offline niche chasers. One of the biggest obstacles for people wanting to crack into the offline niche is TAKING ACTION!!! And persistence!
With many great threads on here showing you what can be achieved, I thought I would show you what can actually be achieved if you TAKE ACTION! Michael Mayo took action, had a goal and BAM, he succeeded!
The money is out there waiting for us, we just need to get it! Now rather than set a monetary goal I am actually setting an ACTION GOAL. This is too show you what intense action can achieve!
So what is this challenge?
I am going to challenge myself to 3 solid days SELLING OFFLINE SERVICES!!!!!
I sell frequently already but not all day, everyday, depending on workload. So some weeks I will pull in 1 or 2 clients and others a few more. But starting tomorrow morning I am going to sell solidly for 3 straight days, I haven't done this since my cold calling days in my previoud J.O.B. So there will be;
- No online marketing
- No distractions
- No internet surfing
- Just solid cold selling
I will use the phone the majority of the time and close most deals over the phone. But if needed I will set up appointments. I will show you how productive, taking action and working methodically can be when selling offline services.
I will update on my blog which is in my sig to let you know exactly what I have done within the day, how many calls Ive made, how many NOs I get, How many pitches I get and ultimately How Many Sales I Get!!!!
I am predominantly looking to sell web design and SEO but if I think I can throw in Email Marketing I will do! As far as money is concerned I do not have a set goal!
I want a minimum of 3 new clients by Thursday close of business. That equals 1 client per day!!! But I am selling for 3 straight days so if I achieve 3 new clients before then, I will carry on and get more! That is most defiantely achievable!
Now for my updates!
I intend to tell you as much as I possibly can! So:
* How I approached certain business!
* Why I chose certain businesses to approach!
* How many calls I made!
* How many NOs I get!
* How Many Maybes I get!
* How many call backs I get!
* How many phone appointments I get!
* The services I sell!
* The money I make!
* And how a typical day for me when selling is!
My 3 days starts tomorrow which is Tuesday 13th January and will end on Thursday 15th January!
These will be solid cold calls, not pre qualified leads, so the results should be very interesting indeed! I also intend to update here and at my blog more than once per day so you get a great understanding of whats needed to succeed in generating regular paying clients!
