Judge My Squidoo Lens

Could some tell me how I can improve my squidoo lens so that it has a higher conversion rate. I'm not allowed to put in a link but you can just go to squidoo.com and type in /fix-ylod-ps3-problem after the address. Thanks

Can I ask your current conversion rate? Looks like you're only getting 4 visitors a day and haven't updated the lens in 7 months. Your issue might not be conversion as much as it is a general lack of traffic which you could address with more content about the whole PS3 yellow light issue.

This lens is old and I haven't updated in in months. The thing is though is I have making sales on the page every month since I stopped updating it due to targeted traffic. The lens use to get over 400+ visitor per month back at the beginning of this year. I was thinking that I could revamp it because it has been doing well with a little bit of traffic. I been getting about 1 sale a month out of about 100-120 views a month. I also think that the niche is still very profitable but I need to get more targeted traffic to come to my lens. Right now I probably have a a 20% conversion rate on the lens and I was just hoping someone could give me tips to nudge it higher.

1 sale out of 100-200 isn't too bad, certainly could be better. I think a two-prong approach would be good. First, for conversions, make your call to action more obvious and more compelling. Second, for traffic, add new material to your lens and make sure to put long-tail keywords in as module titles as those are H2 tags and can help with traffic. You could also make five more related lenses and tie them together with the related lenses tab in the intro module. However, at that point, you might be better off putting content on your own site. Depends on how much time/money you want to put into it.

Anything around 1% is respectable. So you have to improve the content so it causes more clickthroughs. I'd work on the conversion first, before I focused on driving more traffic.
