I have one in my signature. I'm really happy with it. You can start at $500 and go up to $5,000 per sale. I spent a good bit of time researching it and decided to with it. No regrets!

You have an excellent point. It took me a while to join it. I didn't want to spend an dumptruck load of cash for another venture. I can promote it promoting IIU. The more people I persuade to join, who don't want or can't fork over that much money, they advertise it for me and so on. Like I said, I didn't make the choice to go with it over night, and it is only my sig because I'm new to this forum and didn't want to get banned for using affiliate links.

......and I have some family who travel to Hawaii frequently, renting condos on the beach and such....so I could make back the membership fee easily through them

An other idea is if you know SEO and/or PPC (or any traffic generation method), consider instead of charging a flat rate each month for a local client to charge a commission for each sale. There are local businesses that each new client is very valuable and they'll pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars per referral.

You can also tie into a percentage of the referral value.

I'm doing this for 2 local clients. Just started a month ago, but commissions range from $250 to 4 figures (I'm tied into the value of the client). It's basic local SEO, but I can tell you that I'm highly motivated to go all out on their SEO, PPC, and conversion because of the high commissions.

These 2 deals took me months to set up (finding clients and then negotiating the terms), but I expect it to be worth the effort. My clients liked the idea of only paying when they get new business. It's a win/win.

Anyway, if you go out and look for high commission opportunities, they're out there to be had.

Once you have one deal, you can treat it as a regular affiliate promotion - review site (it's easy to get testimonials - just ask the client for them), article marketing, video, blogging, etc.
