    I can see the motivation.

    Now, here's the method.

You said you want to focus online. Here's what you can do:

    1. What can you do? Put up a list of things/services you can provide
    2. Do you have a site or personal blog? Start creating one and put in there a Services Section, add the list you created in step 1.
    3. Promote your services - Put up a WSO here, create a special package for warriors, promote your services on Fiverr and related sites. Create links and ads anywhere it's possible.
    4. Create your list.

That's some basic steps for you.

My advice will be very simply for you.......join the war room and put up a Warrior for Hire ad. You may have to work for a lower rate than you want at first, but over time you can get people to review your work and get up to the rate you really deserve.

The war room is awesome and I highly recommend it. I understand where you're coming from though. If the money isn't there it simply isn't there.

How many fiverr gigs do you have and what sort services are you offering?

To put up a service in the warriors for hire section you don't have to join the war room.

It costs $20 to list a service there.

I highly recommend this. Have a look at some other services there are see what other people are offering. Try to bring a unique twist to your service and offer review copies at a discounted price to get some buyers under your belt.

While you are doing this I suggest doing some work on your domains. Post some content on them and do a little SEO work every day until they start ranking.

Pop some monetization on them such as adsense or amazon and then your income will become automized. It may not be much at first but its better than having domains sitting around making nothing.

      Hope this helps

    Heya,

If you dont have the money for the war room go to odesk.com and apply for as many jobs as you can! If you have pretty good english and can sell yourself you will get picked up pretty quick. Even if its doing rubbish writing jobs you only have to do it once! I made my first $35 this way and it took me about 2 hours of work.

Good. May I ask what country you're in?

Also are you on Skype? If so we may be able to have a chat later today or tomorrow (I'm in England).

I may be able to suggest something if you have any samples of work. However, respectfully, I don't deal with people I don't know and as you're behind an anonymous WF ID, I will need to know you better before we can do anything.

If you're on Skype PM me your Skype name and I'll get in touch.

You’ve got skills, now we need to hone your marketing skills . It’s not enough just to post up one service thread & think buyers will automatically start nibbling. If you aren’t getting any bites, consider your service posts. Are you being descriptive in what you offer? Are your prices competitive? If you’re posting your services on forums, go look at similar competitors & structure your sales letters accordingly. The ones with active threads & good reviews have already figured out what to do.

If you’re advertising via your own website then work on getting quality backlinks & add some keyword targeted content. Show examples of your skills as well to really pre-sell your services.

And then get creative. Maybe you’re an excellent graphic artist but that’s not necessarily what people are looking for. Maybe you need to re-brand yourself or offer a twist on your skill such as “logo designs” or create web graphic packages that are more enticing.

And I know you want to make money online, but your skill may be the type to really benefit from a combination of online & offline marketing. Don’t be afraid to approach people in your local area too regarding your services.

      ....and this excellent advice.

Failing that, if you don't have a site, knock up a few generic headers etc and have them on a file. Ask people to PM you for samples.

Having your own site would be far better though and it doesn't have to be too fancy, just a few examples and a Paypal button next to the various things you can do.

      Well done Istvan, I didn't see he/she didn't have a sig.

"And I live in a country where you cant do anything", by that you mean sell services to businesses.

Isn't this pretty normal? That you need to be a registered business to deal with other registered businesses?

Just register a business name, not that hard. Often it's free. What country are you in? Usually it takes 1 to 2 days for your registration to be completed and you fill a one-page form in.

Also I don't know how you type when you approach potential customers, but if you type like you do here, you'll find it extremely hard to find any business at all.

If you struggle, don't worry - just capitalize the first letter of every sentence, and use a spell check on every word. Too easy!

Make money by creating Squidoo lenses without spending a cent. You can also sell your lenses.

Many webmasters love Squidoo and are making money by creating many lenses. You get a good ranking for belonging to their system. They have a few irritating rules, but you won’t have problems if you’ll follow their (various) rules.

Here is a lens that teaches you how to create many lenses in a short period of time. You will also learn how to get traffic and you’ll find more helpful lenses with money-making ideas in this lens.

    http://www.squidoo.com/passive-income-website-traffic-squidoo-beginners-guide

Since you have so many skills, you’ll easily create beautiful lenses. Quality and quantity are very important.

You’ll get a lot of traffic from the Squidoo community if you post comments in other lenses. Ping your lens each time you get a comment.

You can also promote your sites and your blog through your lenses.

I create lenses to promote my work. I’m getting more traffic and also better traffic because my visitors come from my nice Squidoo lenses. They already have a good impression about my work after reading my lenses. They spend more time at my websites, what helps me make more sales.

Use many pictures. The visual aspect in a lens is very important.

    All the best!

How about blogger or wordpress it also drives more traffic. And about your odesk, do you really put up a good profile. Employers look for complete and good profile and aside from that, you have to start from a lower rate on Odesk, from there if you get hired you will be able to earn stars and would eventually double your rate depending on the stars that you've earn from previous employer..

Umm yes, we made 3 complete profiles and always bid much lower. As we had 0 orders for a while we put rediculus bids (almost for free), and still nothing. Then we stop.

Sorry, my friend, nothing personal... but I do see an emerging pattern here.

Most of your replies to all of the suggestions made with the best intentions are nothing else but excuses explaining why you cannot do it:
the evil moderators disabled your sig; the evil state requires you to pay taxes; you've tried this once and didn't work; you tried that once and it didn't work etc.

On a related note: lowering your prices to almost zero is NOT the best tactic. If you don't put a decent value on your work, many people will consider it worthless.

Let me correct that phrase: you tell what your perception of the reality is, filtered with your negative "glasses".

Everything that you listed and/or other proposed here works. It worked for others, it worked for many people. Sometimes it takes a longer time period to make them work, sometimes it happens faster. Because even using the same "methods" (websites, techniques etc.) we do it differently.

It also seems to me that you were jumping from one method to another, looking for a quick buck. Sorry, if I am wrong but that's what comes across reading your replies.

You know what? - Let's make a real life test here.
You mentioned several times your graphic design skills.
I am in need of a small graphic job done for me.
Give me a quote and I will pay you enough to start your own "Warrior for hire" thread - if the work is good.

However, when you make that thread you should already have a website where people can order, have sample works (graphics), a payment system set up and all that stuff.

day #1 - you finish the job for me
day #2 - you make your website
day #3 - you advertise your services in the Warrior for hire

PM me if interested and if you are up for the challenge!

Istvan hit the nail on the head here.

Everything is perception. If you don't think that you can do something, then you can't. Period.

If you do think that you could do it, then you can.

That's why a big part of becoming successful at IM is believing in yourself and setting goals.

I like your motivation, but have you actually purchased training for anything you have tried to do, or have you been trying to learn it on your own? I found that doesn't work for me, and I need a step-by-step plan. I know there are a number of WSOs that teach you how to make money with Fiverr that you can get for cheap in the Warrior Forum Special Offers section. There's also a product called Ghostwriting Cash (ghostwritingcash.com) that teaches you how to make money ghostwriting. I know there is also a product called PLR ATM (plratm.com) if you want to learn how to open your own PLR store. Don't get frustrated and give up. You just need an action plan, and you will be on your way.

    Good luck,
    Joey

There's also a product called Ghostwriting Cash (ghostwritingcash.com) that teaches you how to make money ghostwriting. I know there is also a product called PLR ATM (plratm.com) if you want to learn how to open your own PLR store. Don't get frustrated and give up. You just need an action plan, and you will be on your way.

      Good luck,
      Joey
Hey. I already tried fiverr few times with more accounts and different techniques, and wasnt able to make a single sale. I also tried selling plr stuff and i never got anyone to buy :S I feel really bad again i really cant explain... :S

        Chap,

Read post #30. That is a surefire way out, to start you off, from one of the most respected members here.

If I was you, I'd have ripped his arm off for that chance.

Can I assume you've contacted him by PM?

  • Your skills and experience are not visible for audience, to people who may become your customers. You need you online CV, you should make a personal blog where you write the articles about your skills. You also can make some tutorials in your field to make the audience certain that you are really professional in this field. Also you should show the job you have already done.

I get the distinct impression that our buddy 'true900' is very young, whether by the calendar or just maturity level. Fail at something, and 'it' doesn't work. Can't register a business because there's too much paperwork. Can't post an offer because there's no money. Registered less than a year here, and managed to lose his sig priveleges.

Claims skills (at least it wasn't spelled 'skillz'), but doesn't have any place to display them.

true900, my friend, you've seen several things offered to you here, including a bona fide offer of work for hire from one of the good guys.

I suggest you take him up on it. Exercise a little initiative and find a way to display these skills. There are free webhosts and Web 2.0 sites out there where you can put your samples on display. Just because no one paid you for a banner, header graphic, etc. doesn't mean you can't create a mockup to show people. Heck, even a free Blogger blog would serve to do that until you can afford to do better.

If you're going to simply wait for someone to come along and give you a paying business, you may as well wait for Godot, too...

rather just focussing on earning some money
focus on setting up a foundation in place to drive
    clients to your site.

You really need to have a system in place.

You have to first build a system that will take
you to your $1000 pm income goal on autopilot.

So here's how your system should look like...

    1. You will have to first setup a powerful
m*oney making system. Here's how my system
looks like. A powerful squeeze page, 10-50
products loaded in my autoresponder follow
up email campaign with quality content and
    product recommendations.

    Products have quality upsells, downsells,
one time offers and backend marketing system.

Everything well tested and fine tuned where
my squeeze page and products are converting
well to take me towards my end goal.

    2. I will start driving 200 leads in my
system. If I am doing things right I will
setup my traffic systems in such a way
that I pay $1 per lead to get in my system.

So I will get 200 leads for $200 cost.

    3. I will tune my system to such an extent
that one lead will end up making me $6 in
a span of 6 months from the 10-50 products
    loaded into my sales funnel.

So 200 leads will end up making me $1200.
After deducting my $200 cost to get these
leads I am left with $1000 profits.

This will make me a net income of $1000.

To move to this stage here's the planning
process I will have to do.

I will have to look out for traffic sources
or paid advertisement that I can use and
get one lead at the cost of $1 in my funnel.

I will have to track conversion rates of my
products, squeeze page, one time offers,
upsells, etc and then shuffle them to improve
my conversion rates on constant basis so that
I can make atleast $6 per lead in a span of
6 months after I promote my 10-50 products in
    the funnel.

I will test out which products are converting
well and will shift them to the top of my
email campaign and this will boost my conversion
    rates instantly.

I might add few high ticket products in the range
of $500 to $1000 or even a coaching program with
my one on one support in the range of $3000 per year
to boost my value per lead from my sales funnel.

In short, I will do everything I can to tune
my system to such an extent where I can get
$1 per lead in my system on autopilot and that
converts to $6 in a span of 6 months and that too
    on autopilot.

Once I have this system in place making $1000 pm
will be dam easy for me.

Infact I can easily speed up my system and start
purchasing 1000 leads and start making $5000 per
month, or tune up and purchase 2000 leads and make
    $10,000 per month.

Are you prepared to do this work?...

As you have said, you have the skills like doing graphics and website designs. You can start by providing that expertise of yours to clients who are looking for you services. I may also add, you can just hang in the forum for a while to really broaden your ideas on the IM business, and I am pretty sure that fellow warriors here are willing to help you in your problem.
Like what most of them had already informed you, post your skills on the Warrior for Hire section, since you have the skills to offer some clients. And if you don't have the money yet to join, might as well try to posts also at odesk, elance.

People, look - I don't mean to be a negative Nancy here - but look at the OP's posts over time and you will see a very distinct pattern that has been going on for months. Advice has been given left, right, and sideways.

I'm not saying anything else here. You can see a clear history for yourselves.

I would be the last to say he/she will never make money online, but my personal advice is for them to let it go for a good 6 months and then maybe after some serious self analysis reconsider if this is really the thing they should be doing.

If Online isn't doing it for you try off line. Market your services there and see how it goes.

I recommend you visit the offline part of the forum and get some ideas.

It's hard to see results because you're jumping into the ocean with big fish while

you first need to grow in a pond.

    GoodLuck.

I definitely agree with what you've said. I think you have to gain experience and be ready for the next and bigger step in your career.
