If Fiverr can't answer my question, I don't know who can..

I've asked Fiverr 3 times now if it's ok to leave an affiliate link in my delivery report. (Word Document) But they never give me a direct answer, always beating around the bush.

I don't really want to risk it without knowing it's 100% safe, because the gig I want to try it on is making me a nice little side income.

Trying to get answer from Fiverr is painful so I wander if any of you guys can shed some light on this situation.

I wish I could help you with this and I'm dying to know the answer as well. There was a situation just like this when eHow was first becoming popular. There was no answer from the top, so a lot of us used affiliate links at the end of our articles. However, they eventually sent out a memo saying that it was not allowed. I feel as if this is what will happen with Fiverr, too.

From my experience, several people I've paid to do work for me on Fiverr have all included affiliate links in the reports they send me.

I would suggest to avoid such a thing.

If you want to link to an outside, I suggest to give a sample of whatever you selling on fiverr or more information.

This way you don't seems advertising but in the same time you can do any affiliated work on your website.

Why would Fiverr give a rats ass if you put affiliate links in your end product or not?

Is there something it the TOS that states that you can't?

I've not created a Gig at Fiverr before although I can't see and/or understand
why it would be a problem???

    Have a Great Day!

    Welcome to Fiverr support. Agonizing.

Let's say you deliver a PDF to the buyer with an affiliate link in it, or one hundred affiliate links, as long as you aren't asking the buyer to contact you outside of Fiverr you should have no problem.

I don't think Fiverr checks up on the delivered product in any way, nor would it seem right (in my eyes) that they would open an attachment that is intended for your customer.

Sending the customer to a download/thank you page that includes affiliate links would be a different matter, I've tried it many times and only get away with it sometimes. You'll probably get the "don't do that, it's not cool" canned reply first, then get your gig pulled if you continue.
