Money withdrawn from paypal without consent?

Hey everybody, today when I opened my paypal a/c I noticed that money was withdrawn to my bank to a/c automatically. The balance was around $17 and I didn't do anything to instruct withdrawal.

Is it normal? or someone has hacked my a/c?

Might be good if you can verify and coordinate with the paypal support desk on this matter.

There is also a thread in the WF forum about paypal India if you are indeed from india. In any case, best recourse is through Paypal support.

    Cheers mate.

India seem to have a hard time online. Maybe it is payback for all those telemarketing calls we all receive from India at dinner time.

Just kidding... or am I. Oops, there's the phone. Better go get it.

The calls are made by Indians but they are made to call from companies in America. And what do you mean by payback hahah.

Companies outsource to India coz they are much cheaper. I've done such works before, and I know who instructs us to call you people, and they are definitely not Indian companies. Don't generalize anything, and words like payback doesn't look good. Paypal isn't making those restrictions because of any fraud from Indians. The Indian government doesn't want any money laundering through Paypal. The rule was posed by the RBI. I hope I din't offend anyone.

Send your complain to the customer services of PayPal through email and indicate in your letter what happened to the money in your account. Ask for an explanation why something like that happened to your money.
I have also read some articles and threads about the services of PayPal in India, in fact, I once received a message from my FaceBook that he wants to send some payment from his client to my PayPal and then I will withdraw the money and will sent him the money through money transfer. And that I first learned about the situation of the services of PayPal in India.

Man! I hate paypal! They and their stupid restrictions. I read in another thread that this happened to someone else. So, they must be doing it to everyone now.
