Time to clear a clickbank check

How long in the UK with a standard current account to clear a clickbank check which is presumably in USD? Is it the usual 6 weeks?

    I'm not sure what it's like in the UK, but in Australia it's usually 6 weeks UNLESS you smile nicely at the tellers or bank manager.

    Over here the bank can choose to "cover" your deposit, and then 6 weeks later when they actually recieve the money, if it bounces they take it out of your account. If it doesn't bounce, it's fine.

    I have my CLickbank cheques cleared this way - all instantly deposited into my account.

    2-6 weeks depending on which bank you're with!

        You can get direct payments to your bank now. Just go into your account details at CB and set it up. I think you do need to have received 3 normal checks in the post first though.

          How long it takes to clear depends on your bank. A clickbank cheque is just another foreign cheque to them

          Alternatively don't bank it in the first place - save up your first three, and then set up direct deposit. then send your checks back to clickbank and ask them to re-issue them as direct depost.

          OK you have to wait for your first three checks - but there will be no bank fees, and no more delay.
