    • yeh thats great for people who already visit my site and i can then let them all know via a new blog or my list that my domain has changed. But doe sthat mean that for the new domain i would have to begin seo/sem all over again???

  • Google recommends 301 redirect:

  • sure? that's great . i need it very much. it's the best way for my plan. btw, anyone want to run a dating site? i can set up one for you at no cost
  • What are you guys talking about? You can't do a 301 redirect or a meta redirect with a blogspot blog. You don't have access to those files.

Best way is pretty much make a post and tell them where your new blog is.

  • Actually you can redirect a 301 from Blogger to another destination.

How to 301 redirect from Blogger to Wordpress | dannytalk ? A Danny Ng Blog

However, check the terms and conditions. I never use Blogger due to it's limits except for a couple of experiments in traffic generation so not too familiar with their rules.
