    Make a redirect.

    <META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.yourwebsite.com">

      yeh thats great for people who already visit my site and i can then let them all know via a new blog or my list that my domain has changed. But doe sthat mean that for the new domain i would have to begin seo/sem all over again???

      cheers

    Google recommends 301 redirect:

    What are you guys talking about? You can't do a 301 redirect or a meta redirect with a blogspot blog. You don't have access to those files.

    Best way is pretty much make a post and tell them where your new blog is.

        because you dont own the blog or the domain or anything! you signed up for blogger and their terms of service..did you not read all the fine print? you have no control over anything..good thing I found this out BEFORE I ever started blogging!

    Actually you can redirect a 301 from Blogger to another destination.

    How to 301 redirect from Blogger to Wordpress | dannytalk ? A Danny Ng Blog

    However, check the terms and conditions. I never use Blogger due to it's limits except for a couple of experiments in traffic generation so not too familiar with their rules.
