Would like to know the real deal

Hi there,

I'm new in the IM field. I've thought about it for years now, always had a steady job which didn't help me to focus 100% and actually jump in.

Now different situation, I seriously need to make it work. I've been buying WSO ebooks for the past 3 days, hoping to find THE real deal to make it work.

Today I need real feedbacks of warriors who are seriously making an income and who started not so long ago.

I need to know what really works and what doesn't really work for a newbie.

Thanks

Well, the real deal is not a magic pill let me tell you. There are many shiny objects on the IM space some are cheap and some are expensive. The basics is know how to create targeted traffic and send it to a web page where you can convert that traffic and make money.

So the basic formula is traffic + conversion = profits.

There are many business models to make money on the internet. You can do Adsense, you can start an information publishing business, you can be a domainer which buys cheap domains and resell them. You can sell stuff on eBay or Amazon. You can focus on CPA (Cost Per Action) and send tons of leads and make a commission on each lead.

There is no one way, but in the end you need to focus on mastering one traffic technique and one conversion technique until you find something that's profitable, then it's just rinse and repeat.

My last advice that can save you a ton of money is that there is no push button software, or magic pill advice to turn overnight riches, if those where truth they wouldn't sell them for $37 bucks and there would not be a ton of people here who in a real way want to make a living online. It's all about creating or buying traffic and send it to an offer that makes you profit in a nutshell.

Hmmmm... It all works, just depends how you apply it!

I started off with learning how to do "Affiliate Marketing" and it was an awesome base/foundation for everything else. So really depending at which stage you're at and what you've tried?

But, the most important thing is that your 'taking action' every step of the way... otherwise, you won't truly be learning!

    Hope this helps,

    Colin

P.S - You can only buy so many WSO's products.

    Hi there,

Here is some advice that applies to all new marketers:

    1. Take action
Don't keep buying strategies, just try and apply the ones you have access to. Action is what makes the money

    2. Create a foundation
Setup your own blog, monitize it with some affiliate offers, get a social media presence and build a mailing list. All fundemental areas of good internet marketing and doing this will teach you many of the base skills you need to succeed.

    3. Find a Mentor
I do not mean pay for one but find someone you can follow who's stuff works and works well. Find the authority figures in your market and see what they do to be successful and even replicate it. If they are making 6 Figures or 7 Figures a year, see how they are doing it... if it works for them it could work for you too!

    4. Don't Be Afraid of Problems
You will hit roadblocks and encounter problems. Good, thats how you learn. Push through them and never give up. Determination, perseverance and belief in yourself will push you to success.

    All the best

    Sean

There is one thing that always works:

Find out what a certain group of people needs and then deliver it.

WSOs can help you a lot if you don't expect to buy one WSO or ebook and be all set after that.

I have spend tens of thousands of dollars over the years in books, ebooks, courses etc. and I don't consider 1 penny wasted.

Look, people spend $50,000, $100,000 and more on a "real" education. And it takes years to get the education. All that only to make maybe $50,000 per year (if they are lucky a little more).

Here you spend a few bucks here and there and if you make sure you understand what you read and then apply at least something you should be able to make some money with it in due course.

The important thing is to act. You may have all the necessary ebooks or tools in the business but if you don't act on it, nothing will happen. Choose a strategy that is fairly easy to start with like setting up a blog or selling an affiliate product.

Act on it and learn along the way. Experience is the best teacher.

    Stephhhhh,

    1) Research a niche you know about
    2) Research what products are available, ClickBank, digiresults (dot) com etc so as to monitorize the site once built
    3) Get some low cost hosting
    4) Now consider a domain name related to that niche, try (hard) to get a domain name that contains your keyword or keyword phrase for the niche in the domain name.
    5) Once you have your hosting and domain name you now need to design or have someone design a site (Warrior forum has many who will do this for you.)
    6) Now you have a site in a niche that you know about, you now need to populate you site with unique content. So write about 10 articles (more if possible) or pay someone to write them for you (again the warrior forum offers this service) and populate the site.
    7) Now the work begins, start creating links to your website for example in forums, and use the various other software like Nuke, Bookmark Demon (BMD) Article Post Robot, Scrapebox and the many many other packages available out there.
    8) Join affiliate sites like Neverblue not forgetting applying for Adsense,

Just build, build, build those links!

Don't forget if this sounds to much try selling on eBay.

But one short cut that must be considered is find a mentor you could save a fortune in the long run...but a word of caution you need to find the right one, again warrior forum offers these types of services.

    Opps almost forgot.........build a list!

I have kept this thread short as I am sure many other warriors will contribute to this thread.

    Best Regards (and good luck)

Hello, and welcome to the WF.

The point is not in buying WSO after WSO. If you already have knowledge you just need to take action and focus on it. Don't look around for the next big thing, work on what you know. But if you don't have any particular knowledge, go to WSO section, and pick a WSO that interests you, and work on that. Sometimes it might not work at first, but don't give up. Go back, modify technique, add unique twist to it, and repeat.

In order to success you must not give up. Also if you fail don't just give up, try to learn something from that, so you know for the next time.

    Hope that helps.

    Welcome to Warrior Forum!

This thread has a lot of extremely good advice in it already. I do have to add that you probably won't know what works until you take action. Try something for at least a week (not a couple of hours), tweak it, and see if it gets you any results.

If it doesn't work or your simply not comfortable with it move on to something else. Also, do not be afraid to contact any WSO owner who has offered to answer questions or provide support. It can be hard asking for help, but I've found it saves a lot of time and frustration. You've demonstrated you don't mind speaking up and that alone will go a long way.

Truth is, there is no REAL DEAL!

What you have been buying are (most likely) all great methods of making money online. But the more you buy, the less action you will be able to take because your mind will be flooded with so much info.

What you really need to do is find someone you can trust and that has integrity, then buy their stuff and follow it to a TEE!!

Do that until it makes you money, then rinse and repeat!

I'll try to offer some help here as this has been my 'speciality' on one of my blogs since August 2010.
Can you build an income with no budget? Theoretically yes, you can - BUT . .
No Funds = A Lot of Time + A Lot of Work
      Money = Choices

There's a lot to learn, and probably the best investment any newcomer can make, is to sign up with a trusted mentor/coach/trainer.

      Otherwise, here's a Quick Checklist:
      You will need:
      1. A Clickbank Account (and Clickbank nickname)
      2. A Paypal Account (to receive payments)
      3. A dedicated web email box for your business, such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail
      4. An autoresponder. Listwire is free - always, MailChimp is free up to 2000 names (NO AFFILIATE MARKETING with MailChimp)
The cheapest way to get started with the intention of making some money is probably by blogging. But you must pick your subject/theme/niche first, otherwise you'll have no direction.

      1. No Money to start.

Use a free blogging platform, Blogger or Wordpress.COM (not Wordpress.ORG) This way you don't have to pay for domain names or hosting, but your blog can be shut down without warning if you breach their conditions.
      • Create 3-5 Test/Fake/Nonsense posts - But don't publish them!
      • Write 3-4 (or more) real draft articles (posts) about your subject (Don't publish yet).
      • Get a Google account, then an Adsense Account. You can then set up to 3 'Ads by Google' panels (make sure they're related to your subject)
      • Get an Amazon Associates account. This allows you to place Amazon ads on your blog/site, from which you can make commissions.
DO NOT PLACE ANY AFFILIATE OR CLICKBANK PRODUCTS ON A FREE BLOGGING PLATFORM. YOU WILL BE SHUT DOWN. (If you have your own products or services, you can link directly to those on your own sites only.
Learn some SEO tactics from other blogs to help search engines find you
Find a good related PLR eBook to persuade visitors to register with you (List Building).

Spend some time setting up your new blog so that it is visually appealing for your visitors, and has all the above elements in place (Optin Box, Adsense, Amazon).

      When your satisfied,
      • Publish the Fake posts to the site and visit it yourself. (Don't worry, nobody else will see the nonsense, it's just there to give you a visual reference).
      • Make any adjustments, and check that everything's working OK.
      • Write an About Me Page and publish it. (Many people visit this first as they want to know who they're dealing with).
      • Once your happy:
      • Read your real posts again, and make any changes and adjustments
      • Publish your FIRST POST!
      • Delete the fake posts
      • Publish a post at least once a day at first (this will help the search engines notice you)
      • Continue publishing articles/posts to your blog/site, and it will gradually get visitors (Don't forget SEO
and Keywords on each and every post).

Blog Hopping. Find other blogs similar to yours, or about the same subject, and visit them regularly. If you find an interesting post, leave a decent comment. (this will build back links, which also help search engines improve your blogs status). Encourage visitors to your blog to leave a comment too.

The Amazon and AdSense ads won't give you much financial return until you get decent traffic to your site.

Without money, it takes time and perseverance.

This is one way to start without any money. However, if you can afford some investment:
      • Get your own domain
      • Pay for web hosting
Then your virtual store is your intellectual property, to do with what you wish. This is a much more stable and secure way to start.

The only final piece of advice is to persevere, and focus on your keyword/subject. With time, people will come.

It's up to you how you deal with them from here on.

      Cheers
      Alan

Essentially, you want to find a niche and stick to it. I made the mistake of jumping between too many things too quickly early on, which reduced overall productivity. Instead, take the time to properly test a niche and monetization method and once you start earning a stable income in that THEN move onto something else.

There is always more money involved in selling your own products though.

Hey. First, stop buying all those WSOs. Making money online is a finding a legit method, a legit program that allows you to gain the knowledge and skills you need to make it work, and then implementing what you learn. There's no magic involved. As for a method that works, there are a number of path you could choose to take. The fastest way to make money online is as a service provider of some kind (i.e. ghostwriter, website designer...) This is because as a service provider, you get paid via Paypal. You have to be organized and be able to work with deadlines.

Another option (and perhaps the most popular of all) is to start a niche blog that focuses on a particular theme like weight loss, dating, pet care, gardening, sports...and usually contains both product reviews and related info. Once you get everything up and running, the income is residual -- work once but continue to profit with no extra work. You can also create multiple income streams from the same blog, work around your own schedule, and make money from something you are passionate about. Niche blogs are also great for the holidays.

    Good luck,
    Joey
