Anybody Else Getting Spam Registrations?
I've noticed I've been getting a lot more registrations on my website RatRaceWatch - Anti 9 to 5 Community
At first I was excited to see the additional members to the community page.
But then I noticed a pattern:
Many of the registrants just had random letters as their name:
Examples:
lerecyc
lanefelraym
ioterpenflor
gorettisynt
I apologize if any of these are real people (there are tons more):
And i also noticed many of the registrants emails coming from:
@qq.com
@tom.com
Those actual website seem to be in japanese and look spammy in nature
So I'm curious, any idea why this is happening? I don't really see the benefit of anyone doing this, there are no back-links that I can see, and thankfully it's only like a few per day, but it's still very annoying.
