Hi Guys,
Just wondering: is it possible to market a service (for example top quality content, quality backlinking and so on) through affiliate networks such as CJ or Clickbank?
I mean, after all its not a product, its a custom service...
Any ideas?
Thx folks

I don't think you can do it through CB as they want "access to your digital product". PayDotCom might be a solution, though.

Not sure about CJ but I know that Clickbank don't normally allow servicing - except in special circumstances

It is difficult depending on what you are offering because there is so many more parameters to take into account. It is not just a product and user experience has more to do with it.

I suggest you set up your own affiliate program if you want to do this.

There are a few services offered in the DigiResults market place, you could set it up there. It's free to set up and you just pay a small percentage of each transaction.

Just to clear up a little mis-information in this thread... you absolutely can offer a service via ClickBank (and have affiliates promote it), as I've been doing this for a few years now. And I have seen other services on CB as well. As long as your service does not go against their TOS, you should be fine.

        Hi Brandon,

Sorry should have been more clear - of course you can offer services as long as they do not go against the T&C's - but to my knowledge and as I have been told by my Clickbank Premier rep you cannot offer servicing... i.e web design, seo services - things that demand an on going service and an agreement.

I too DO offer this but had to get special permission.

        Unless things have changed...

I am talking about 8 months ago I set this up.

You can also try offering your services on vWorker.. I don't think Clickbank is the right place for your service..

I think offering 'service' as a product could be possible in CJ.. clickbank I don't think can do that.. Why don't you ask them about it?

I agree with the DigiResults suggestion - I think that would be a good place to offer your service.
