Hi this is Mylo and I'm new. Just registered to this forum because I have so many questions that needs to be answered. Hope you help me guys.

I am so worried, my three sites dropped their rank in Google. From page one they all dropped to page 5. Does Google penalized my websites? If so, what are the reasons behind this? What are the do's and don'ts in order to avoid this situation?

Please I need your help guys.

Thanks!

MYLO

Its simply a change in Google algorithm.Make sure you do your IM from all known methods. What people do is concentrate only on one area they like, neglecting the others.
If you are everywhere, even if the algorithms change, you ramain on page one.
Another thing, are you active? You have to work hard every day to maintain Page Ranking. There are people joining the biz each day, some with sharper skills and drive to dislogde those at the top. Watch out Mylo.

If your sites are Wordpress (blogs), you need to keep feeding them with new information. Google loves sites with are kept current and relevant.

If you slow down making new posts, Google will often let your rankings slide.

Make sure you have a constantly updated XML plugin if you do have word press. You can set it to update daily and if your post daily then this keeps Google on their toes. create a Squidoo lens get some quality relevant back-links even if its a mirror image of your website it will bring in some audiences interested too.

Generally if you sites drop the best thing to do is just keep building links. The rankings will usually come back after awhile. I'd also check your on page seo and if you have submitted your site to Google Webmaster Tools you can see if there are any errors.

      Welcome!

I've seen a few of my own sites drop. I just put it down to the Google dance.

Are your websites new? They may be doing the google dance. If they are new they just keep building links at a steady pace and you should see your sites go back up.

    Mylo,

There are many reasons why this can happen. My advice is to keep adding content and make sure you are getting high quality backlinks to your content in a natural way. Sometimes if you build too many backlinks too quickly it can cause your ranking to drop.

Adding more content can help you to always have a steady flow of pages and posts getting ranked and indexed. This can help to even things out on your site as you build it for the long term.
