Putting Your Blog on auto pilot

Alexander, there are several threads about autoblogging already on the forum, so if you do a search you will find the answers to most of your questions are already available.

Re. search engines etc. - I think it's fair to say that there are so many different ways to do autoblogging that a definitive answer is not possible.

If you go for the 'splog blog farm' route then you may be fighting a never ending battle with the search engines keeping your blogs indexed and working for you (as well as not providing any real value to the web in general). - I can't say if this is 100% true or not as I don't use that technique.

However, if you go for a more blended technique of utilising automated methods and mixing it in with a human touch to provide unique and useful content alongside the news items you automatically pull in, as well as providing proper attribution to the original source of the news item, then it can work very well and has as much chance of ranking well alongside fully human generated sites as anything else.
