Need advise on selling peoples content... let me explain myself...

Hello everyone!

I have a membership website and i wanted to set up a system where members will create how to videos and i will sell them on my site for a commission.
I am already selling my videos with the WP eStore plugin but I know that people with the same passion as me (and maybe more talent) would benefit my traffic as much as i would benefit there skill.

Do you think i need to make them sign something to cover myself copyright-wise? Is there anything to make transaction "official" (I live in the Philippines whilst my customer are in France) ?

Any advise would be great!

    Are you looking to claim copyright on the videos? I don't think you'd get many people signing up if you did. The best thing might be to insist every video has a copyright notice at the end - something like "© Copyright [Their Name] 2011" should do the trick. They could also add "All rights reserved world wide" but it's not usually necessary.

    Not quite sure what you mean by this. Most online businesses have customers in other countries.

    Kinda reminds me of ShowMeDo, it got a nice traction at the start but never lifted off. Will you be having your own Youtube script or you just want to link the videos to your site?
