Where can I Find a Web Design Architect?

Hi Warriors,

I have a rather large website that I need designed for a business of mine. However, I would like to know if anyone knows of any architects or artists that can help draw up the website so that when it comes to actual design/coding there is a visual guide to work with.

Any direction appreciated.

Regards,
Antony.

Thanks for both of your tips. I hadn't yet posted a job on a freelancing website as I wanted to check if there were any particular mediums. This is probably the best way to go about it though.

    Thanks.

Actually, I would always go the other way around: have the functionality "designed" first by/with a web developer... and you can add later the 'clothing', i.e. the look.

I'm not sure I agree. I recently had a website designed for my content business and there have been some set backs largely due to misconceptions. By having a website artistically drawn, I think this will really eliminate any misconceptions and provide a clear understanding of what the designer/programmer needs to accomplish. I'm actually surprised there aren't many well advertised mainstream businesses offering this as a regular service - business venture anyone?
