Newbie question - how do i "give thanks" ??

where am i missing seeing a button to "give thanks" to a person ?

i see people are given thanks for their help, and i'd like to do that, too

  • It's just right under their post where you see the 4 buttons on the bottom right corner that says "quote" "multiquote" "quick reply" and "Thanks"

    give some water in your eyes and then maybe you will see..
  • You must have a certain number of posts, first. I was told 5 posts, so you should see the button now. Try refreshing your browser.
  • You can see the "thanks" sign on the lower right part of every posts. But you can send this particular person maybe a PM so you could personally sent him/her your appreciation. I mostly do send PM to which I gave my appreciation to all the people who had helped me and aided me to what I was trying to learn in the IM business.

    • Not really - PM privileges are not available until your post count is high enough. The OP still has a ways to go before he/she can do that.

      That is certainly a very nice gesture! However you should also give those helpful users a click of the Thanks button as well for their efforts. If that user eventually runs a WSO one of the things prospective customers may look at is the users Thanks count.
