Good SMS marketing strategies/WSOs

I've been reading around a lot about SMS marketing. It seems like a legitimate way to help businesses out a lot, so I'm thinking about getting into it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm moslt interested in text message marketing, not so much mobile websites.

Yes, SMS marketing also a good option for marketing in a cheapest rate.In SMS marketing we can send a SMS for our business details, If customer interested & give response so company contact with that person. But the main thing is to arrange the database of numbers of sending msg's .

SMS is one of those areas... That I would call, well... Grey areas... The laws surrounding SMS marketing are, well... To be frank, a pain in the butt... I have, worked on something in recent months, with a programmer - for sending out "reminder SMS", and was reminded time and time again, about how you need to watch what you send using SMS... Because of the laws...

What I would suggest you do is use a funky tool called Google, and look around for SMS marketing suggestions, I would do some "due research" on it for a while... Instead of buying product after product, just because, it's really not a "golden ticket" area....

Again, this is my opinion - take that for what it is...

    Hi Marc,

You are smart to be looking at SMS and mobile marketing - more and more businesses are using it due to the high ROI and its a great way to setup a monthly recurring income for yourself. I use a white label platform from Lime and my clients love it. Besides texts it also handles qr codes, mobile coupons, mobile ads and webpages, sweepstakes, polling, surveys, appointment reminders(1way and 2way), and everything is Facebook integrated. At only 1-1.5 cents per outgoing text and free incoming texts it is the lowest price for the features platform in a true SMS short code system that I have found. Starting Oct. 1st it will also be available in Canada as well as the US. You can try a free demo account to see everything in action or talk to UV at Lime and mention Zenyatta - If you are serious about SMS then you will be glad you got this tip.

    Good Luck,
    Zenyatta

I use full Twilio numbers so that I can track customer contact through other marketing campaigns as well. For SMS, I use Chad Wyatt's WSO that allows for Twilio integration with Wordpress.

Also, I use txt180.com for shortcode that I use in my own marketing (since I don't want to use a local number for any people out of my area).
