Turning a dead site into a money making venture

I've decided to go down the list route to see if it's profitable because I here it so much on here.

If you read my thread yesterday, i've had 3500 visitors to my site, now over 500 hops and 0 sales.

I've signed up to aweber and created a opt-in form. I've added it to my site and the next step if creating the follow ups.

My product I want to sell is a MMO product and I want to offer a 7 part free course on making money online.

Its nothing out of this world Just a simple

mail 1 - welcome and what the course is about
mail 2 - using wordpress to build websites
mail 3 - keyword research
mail 4 - clickbank and choosing affiliate products to sell
mail 5 - on-page seo
mail 6 - offline seo
mail 7 - product sell

future emails can include extra information + different sells (market samuri/seo presser) etc

Now I'm not very good with words. Should I outsource the follow up emails or should I just do them myself. I can always spell check but would my writing style be enough to convince or do you really need to send the perfect emails to make people want to buy?

Also, if you have any better ways I can send out the 7 part course. That would be great.

My first question is why are you so adamant about making money in the "make money online" niche? It is one of the hardest niches to crack. My second question is what makes you qualified to teach others to make money online when you are having trouble doing so yourself?

Don't get mad. I think these are legitimate questions.

These are very legit questions and I was thinking the same thing.

If you are not good at writing you certainly need to outsource this work. If you don't you may end up with emails that don't keep your list subscribers reading your emails.

      They are good questions.

I happened to stumble into this niche when I didn't know any better. I've built the site so there is not much more I can do.

As to why I'm qualified to tell someone how to MMO. I guess im not but i'm not really trying to do that. I'm trying to sell someone a product that can.

I'm sending an email about wordpress. I can make decent sites that I think look ok.

I'm gonna tell them about finding keywords. I can find keywords that get my site a lot of visitors. Enough to make money.

I'm gonna tell them about off and on page seo. I'm on the first page of google so I'm doing ok. I can get sites to rank based on on-page seo with low comp.

Im just telling them about clickbank and how to choose products.

So really, I don't think i'm doing anything wrong. If you don't agree, then please tell me why.

I think the idea sounds watered down because you even acknowledged that you are new to this niche. It sounds like you are trying to make something (because you know others make money in this niche), with nothing (not enough knowledge or experience in it).... more of a hit and hope.

I would re-focus and start becoming a Word Press authority first... send tips, tricks, tutorial videos etc. Then once you have success (and recognition) in that, expand to the next level and so on.

That's just my opinion about it all.

Just like what E. Brian Rose and Benjamin Ehinger said, it just didn't feel right when I read your opening post, sorry to say Fin.
