Does Internet Marketing Limit You?

I'm curious. As an internet marketer does your entrepreneurial drive (assuming you have one and that is what you call it) only exist with your online businesses or do you feel any compulsion to take things offline or think outside the box (go extreme with a patent on a physical invention for example)?

So, do you feel your experience and ease of success online "limits" you to just stick online?

The opposite in fact, Internet Marketing freed me a bit. Now I can go into pretty much whatever niche I want to, build a successful business and eat lots of pie. Hard to do that in the offline world with some niches.

Oh, I misunderstood the question...yea, I guess it does limit me then. I mean why would I go back to dealing with people face to face, the hassles and overhead an offline business brings. So yea, I guess I am kinda limited now.

I think it helps - but you should always have the face to face communication and sales happening as this is just as important if you need to work offline.

I actually got into IM to enhance my offline. I had/have a hobby (can we all guess what that is by now?) that I just foam at the mouth over - and to get into it in business levels required me to go online. I love it. I can go anywhere in the country and people in my genre of interests either know my site already or sign up after we meet. So I have the best of both worlds as each feeds on the other. There is little difference between the business and the pleasure - and there are aspects that just can't exist online, terra extreme. Other aspects I need the computer for. The IM experience is far from limiting for me - it has opened realms I had never dreamed to be able to explore otherwise.

While I am sure that there are other Warriors getting richer, faster than I am, I think I am getting much more than many from the experience. Choose your niches wisely.
