Any Tips for Landing Pages

Does anyone have any tips for landing pages. Currently I am at 30% sign up for my Aweber account but I am looking to convert around 50%.

I have tried to keep the landing page very simple. This may be a bad strategy.

Any suggestions?

Call to action above the fold. Meaning the user shouldn't have to scroll down to click the button you want them to click.

      Hello! RetailMills

I agree with the other comments made by the other warriors here.

In addition, I would remove the phrase "Here's Your chance to make $1,000's per Month"

      I hope this helps!

    • Hi Retail Mills,

I would have one headline and then some smaller bullets.

Also, definitely make the opt-in above the fold - I would do that first.

Basically, looks good, just tone it down some.

      Keep it simple!

I agree with all the other warriors here.... I'm not sure if it was just my page but there is a big gap at the top. I was waiting for a header/banner to load, so I would get rid of that gap which essentially moves everything up quite a bit, so you can fit more on the page (above the fold).

And agree with kikolani that the colours, highlighting etc makes me want to wear sunglasses reading your page

But 30% conversion is a nice start

The landing page is the one that will determine the user staying on the site or turning away. If he likes whta he sees and finds what he expected to find then he will not turn away. But if he has to search for something and not find it then this could be bad. Make sure that your landing page has everything a user wants to find and he can find anything with the minimum of effort.
