Any experience in the "Home remedies" niche?

I Picked up a "home remedies" based domain name, I was going to just set up a blog and fill it with a bit of content with a few affiliate links and what not. But then I though people searching for home remedies are probably not going to typically be Buyers as such. I'm guessing they would be something similar to recipe seekers. Not sure it's worth my bother anymore.

Anyone have experience in this niche? any advice?

Got experience in some areas of the holistic niche, which can often cross-over into home remedies... it can be very profitable.

Make sure your offer is laser targeted and very specific... there's also plenty of room for expensive upsells which don't have as targeted.

People do spend money in this niche, but you will need a fair amount of social proof.

Offer some free home remedy tips, followed by a few relevant affiliate links to Clickbank or Amazon. This is a wide open market (hundreds of niches) with a huge demand and repeat buyers.

'Home remedies' as such may not have buyers, but 'holistic health' sure does. Don't know what the domain name you have is, but if you can use it in the holistic/naturopathic/wellness industries, I think you have a lot more buyers than you may think.

Actually, "holistics" is only a very narrow segment of home remedies.

Much of my SEO focus has been in the "natural cures" niche which deals a lot with home remedies but the majority of my products I promote in this niche are physical products that one can't make from home.

However I know for a fact that home remedies are very popular.

You can certainly do well if you monetize your domain with an Ebook such as a Clickbank product or maybe something from Amazon. Also adsense might do well for you if you tastefully include some ads on your site.

    All the best,

It is true those people searching for home remedies expect to be able to get the thing done at home, if you promote somethings that they need to buy it just a bit difficult for them to buy. I had 2 websites doing home remedies, the conversion is much lower than my others websites that doing cures or treatment.
