Hi, I have a website with about 100 YT videos linking to it and I get about 1,000 visitors a month from that. I want to get my site all SEO'd up and try and target a keyword, that my site directly is about, but....
Should I Change my Domain Name?

Hi,

I don't have any of that long tail keyword in my domain name. Most of the high ranking sites for that keyword have at least one of the words from the long tail in in the domain. Should I change my domain and just use some kind of redirect for the old domain?
What are your thoughts. I heard that domain names don't affect SEO but I disagree with that unless you are some kind of authority site. I have a good site that I think I can rank for a 20,000 exact searches a month for. I have over 50 posts and give tons of great free content.
