Hi warrior,

Though I'm not a very active here at WF, I did learn a LOT. I've been a member long back but forgot the login details when I got busy in college. I would like to take this opportunity to THANK each and everyone of you for your contributions to the WF community.

For those still doubting the super Fiverr, if you've got a skill, quality service or anything unique that you can offer for $5, Fiverr cuts the huge marketing costs for you and bring you sales the very same day. It always happened to be. Sometimes its not what or how you sell, its 'where' you sell

I really like Fiverr. (I have already earned $24 using Fiverr in 3 weeks. Well that was worth it.) :-)

I had a gig that brought me a few buck and i was first on the page for my keyword. But then a couple of people got gigs without respecting my requirements... I needed to cancel the orders and it affected my ratings. Now I'm not in first page anymore...

Congratulations! It's always nice to hear that people are still doing well out of the Fiverr marketplace. I know a lot of the shootoffs are stuggling at the moment.

  Yes, El Marketorr, you should be able to cancel a gig without penalty when the buyer is trying to make you do something you haven't agreed to. You should also be able to block buyers. I'm hoping for these improvements in the months to come.

Congrats on your Fiverr success!

Followed your "working" sig link (the top one leads to an index?) and am very surprised to see Top Rated Seller status in a mere 31 thumbed up gigs. Seems like a small number, I really do not understand how Fiverr decides who gets Top Rated and who doesn't. Nothing against you, it just seems odd.

If you check out the gig which has sat atop the video gigs list, if you click "popularity", the guy has nearly 1500 thumbs up. Not a top rated seller. He does though have some thumbs down throughout but the numbers sure don't seem to add up. It just seems completely bass ackwards don't it?

Really though, I'm happy for you. I just don't get how they choose top rated sellers.

I am interested to know how many gigs it took you to get preferred seller status?

I have done Just Under 350 Gigs across 3 Individual gigs, Interested to know how you managed to get that preferred seller status

Sometimes customers expect too much or just dont even bother reading the description. In those situations its highly important to be extremely polite and don't forget to include the >>

<< in your replies to them, works wonders.

As long as things/services sold at Fiverr are really worth 5 bucks or more, they work. Check the creative gigs to get more idea on how bizarre stuff really goes well. People just love anything unique. Ofcourse video testimonials, voice overs, video intros always have demand.

I do original, Fiverr exclusive, video commercials mostly. There are other fun stuff that I do sell too but videos are real fun to do.

Well, I had gig with 350+ ups and zero downs, was featured as well. Disabled it as its too much work to fit in my timings

From what I know I think Fiverr chooses top rated sellers automatically, and not manually. I had the doubt myself and when asked the Fiverr's support team replied with

"The Top Rated Sellers are picked by the system and there are many criteria that go into picking the TopRated."
