Just made my first $35 in profit!

Hey guys,

I literally just started my website 10 days ago. I'm looking to see other than Facebook, Twitter, forums, and backlinking...how else can I increase traffic? For all your guru's out there...gimme your best!

    try press release, rss, the countless social bookmarking sites(digg etc...) or post an add on craigslist selling an item related to what ur sites selling...the emails you get can be considered opt-ins then when they email just point them to your site, idk never tried this just popped in my head heh.

        try to post your articles. Perhaps you can do some web2.0 backlinking. That really helps.

        Just link your article base one anchor textlink to your website and one anchor textlink to your google profile, squidoo, ezine and all the other static pages that you can think of.

    Hi, I suggest to try for a minimum of at last three months to use up to five traffic sources. Doesn't work one... replace that one for another traffic source...

    My favorites are... list building, You!Tube, RSS, article submissions and Squidoo

    You can try:

    PPC
    Traffic Exchanges
    Article Marketing
    Social Bookmarking
    Co Registration (if you are using lead capture/opt in)
    You can even buy bulk adsense safe traffic (although you have to be careful of quailty)

    The list goes on but i hope these ideas help. If you need instruction you prob need to look for a decent guide.

    First of all congrats on your $35 profit!
    The best way to build up your traffic is to get your site ranked for your desired keywords.
    If you can get to the first page of google you will increase your profit and gain long term income.
    Social media is good for short term traffic but SEO work gives you passive traffic. Do the work once and then rake in the profit!

    Wow! Profiting after 10 days? You are better off than most "gurus".

    Stick with it, replicate and automate your systems many times over.

    $35 is a great profit in the first ten days.
    You can use PPC and article marketing to increase your traffic.

    ^^ I like the youtube idea. You can make some videos and post them on youtube and in the description you can put the link. Make sure that your videos are related to the topic of your site.

    Hoorah for your first profit!!! I am finding that article marketing and a good squeeze page is bringing me some good traffic.
    I have never had much luck with PPC, but I am in a very competative market

      Right now I have a backlink campaign going and I'm thinking about getting into article writing and PR's. Possibly further expand my backlink campaigns to include edu and gov links as well as pyramid links.

    I took prob 6 months before I made my first $35 ... I found that youtube is the best for getting attention and people wanting to come and check out your site. If you create videos that people share around through social media ... that works awesome ! So just keep your viewer in mind when creating videos .. what kind of videos would you pass around. I did that and the results are insane .. Also ... if you connect your fb - youtube - twitter and your site all together (ie you fave a vid on youtube it automatically posts that on twitter etc ) it creates a viral effect also I have found ... and lots of traffic also.

    Well first off, congratulations and you could try and branch into video marketing or article marketing. I would definitely go with video marketing. It seems as if youtube is taking the world by storm now a days..
