Yeah, the biggest problem I saw was just the fact that people are trying to use embed code in the forum, and that creates strange HTML box.

YouTube is just got better at embedding. Before you did need embed code, and it was also quite difficult to post YT videos on a forum anywhere.

To be honest there are very few situations where you would actually need the embed code these days.

this method provides a thumbnail, and a live link up top which takes me away to Youtube. I think what people want is a way to play the Youtube within the warrior forum w/o leaving. ok scratch that... it works properly, however for awhile Firefox was not actually playing the video for me but just showing thumbnail and link. I was trying to put in a video regarding dsm's mega sale and wasn't sure it was working at first.

It doesn't work in all forums for some reason. If I try this in anything other than VBulletin it gets completely screwy lol

When I was posting my first WSO I was completely confused and did not know how it was supposed to work...

Thanks buddy. I've been biting my head off on this embed thingy... This is just a test embed:

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

It worked here perfectly, but in some sub sections like in WSO when I click preview post it just parses it as a link.
