Facebook or tweeter?

Which one do you think most people have an open tab to right now while being on the forum?

my experience is in twitter but i can definitely say twitter and facebook are both very powerful when marketing almost anything, the difference i have found is i have had alot more success with twitter because there formula for getting a following is much faster and clearer than facebook

I go with facebook for building private groups and facebook page likes

It depends on many things... If you were to create a page on Facebook that went viral then I would definitely go with Fbook. But just by using your friends or your followers, I prefer Twitter.

Facebook and Twitter, both are Big Daddy in their niche. None of them can outrank each other. On a personal note, I feel Twitter brings more money because of the vast online money making opportunities that came up with twitter like sponsored tweets, url shortening monetization, etc. and they all paid heavily for just 160 characters in your twitter timeline. I consider that huge!

None. If you want traffic, use SEO.

I use both of them the hardest part is getting the maximum exposure from them.

Both sites are good, instead of just picking one i always look for more options..

Twitter. I have had real good success with Twitter. Just for me it's been easier, however Ive heard real good things about FB too. I just haven't been able to put in enough time to get it working for me as it should.

Facebook is easier to use and you get results more quickly i think.

Use both to build relationships, not market. Posting affilaite/sales links in either won't work except for very few niches.

It's NOT about one or the other, or even both, but how you use them TOGETHER, as a TEAM. They both have unique attributes that should be exploited. Here's an example from Twitter - PWAT technology (pay with a tweet) - viral as all getout! (twitter is FAR more viral than FB, in my view)

When you shove a couple other super advanced technologies into the mix with these two (such as a polished wordpress blog and a bunch of quality youtube videos), you have a license to print money

why you do not use them, if you use two fonts in the social media that will be more traffic you can.

Maybe twitter, but I have bad experience with both. It's better to use that time and energy for SEO and backlink building.

I think both are the best.

I use viral scripts and just use CPA offers. I don't work with affiliate programs and selling products. I use Twitter for the source of traffic and it converts to Facebook only because I have a huge twitter. Personally I would use Faceook any day over Twitter when marketing.

Because of social network bookmarks can read by all networked persons & we can aware new things on market by submitting URL & make bookmarks of sites.so its mainly focus on sites.We can show on Facebook their has more traffic on social media.

Well for me both are useful. It totally depends how you use it.

Facebook seems to be more effective and converts more than twitter

There 2 different things you can't compare which is best because they do 2 different things

facebook may be more popular , but having more twitter followers can allow you to sell your sponsored tweetes via adly or buysellads, having more followers at twitter sends you more traffic as it comes in search result also ....

Facebook has several business features than twitter and in my personal experience Facebook generates much more income.

I think that both of them will serve for different purposes . The main idea is the same (communication) but I think the flavor is different. many people use Facebook and interested in sending photos posts videos and many people use twitter for telling people about what they are doing at the moment. I like them all and i think that everyone should have them all .

Different campaigns will have different levels of success on each.

Some companies can do well on Facebook if they are the kind of business people will be happy to have in their friends/follow lists, which is, remember, visible to their real friends, and provide content people like to share with each other - for example music, cars, beauty - those kinds of social/aspirational categories. Embarrassing or boring things like health and taxes won't get shared so much.

Twitter works best if you can easily (and therefore cheaply!) create regular useful, entertaining or inspirational posts (telling people what you are having for lunch only works for celebrities).

Work out potential campaigns for each, then decide which to do and measure how each is doing. What works for you will not be the same as for everybody else.

If You're serious about your business You should use both.

I use mainly facebook and the twitter is only support for efforts I put on Facebook.

For me both the websites, Facebook and Twitter are great platforms to create an online presence. Both the websites are equally effective and they enable any business to connect with the customers in the best possible way. It is important to add regular updates in order to direct more traffic to your website.

i subscribe to more channels the better.. and as we go to different channels, there are always different ways to do it with different rules and strategies in both platforms. If you have the time, pick up both. More channels of traffic, the better it is for your business. Cheers.

Actually none. Facebook, twitter and linkedin is better for marketing. Normally you will get amazing traffic from here.

I use them both, they are both a great source of income.

And a great way to get more followers is using "twitter competitions" and also finding someone else in your niche on twitter and go through and follow the people who follow them because they are obviously interested in your niche!

In my experience they both have pro's and cons.

It seems like Facebook is good for sustained long term traffic, while twitter is awesome for live events and chatting.

Both of them work - it just depends on the strategies that you're using and the offers you have.

I think facebook bring more traffic to me.Coz i share the interesting info my FB friends,and they will follow the info to their own friends, thus, i will get more fans ,so means more traffic.But twitter couldn't work well like FB sometimes.

You can use Facebook and Tweeter in earning money. It is just a matter on how to manage it. Everything about earning money, gaining massive traffic of your website, promotion and advertising, these two can help you. Don't just focus on Facebook and Tweeter.

May be it depends on you marketing strategy. For me FB is better. But why don't you try both of them. Then if one of it doesn't give you traffic, you can select between them

Both are worth trying, but Facebook gives me more targeted subscribers...

to build twitter followers you can hire someone to get it and you can focus to build relationship with all your followers.
twitter will be the next most wanted site after facebook
build for now and you will reap later...
